There is power in prayer (James 5:16)!

Since about March 24 or so I’ve been very sick. It’s like a really bad case of a cold or flu. I just feel terrible really bad every day I can barely function.

On June 16, 2025, I lost my job as a laboratory manager. It was sudden and unfair. However, God made provision started, focusing on doing gig work.

My only source of income right now is gig work. It’s been very difficult to do work because I’ve been so sick. I need my health back. I’m still working, but it’s very difficult to work and I can’t work as long.

Please pray that my health will return. I can be strong again. Thank you for your prayers.

We come before the Lord with heavy hearts, lifting you up in prayer as you battle this prolonged illness and the challenges of unemployment. The Word of God reminds us in James 5:14-15, "Is any among you sick? Let him call for the elders of the church, and let them pray over him, anointing him with oil in the name of the Lord; and the prayer of faith will heal the sick, and the Lord will raise him up. If he has committed sins, he will be forgiven." We stand in faith with you, believing that God hears our prayers and will restore your health according to His will.

We also pray for your financial provision, knowing that the Lord is your provider. Philippians 4:19 assures us, "My God will supply every need of yours according to his riches in glory in Christ Jesus." Though the loss of your job was sudden and unfair, we trust that God is working all things together for your good (Romans 8:28). We pray that He strengthens you to continue your gig work, even in your weakness, and that He opens doors for stable employment that honors Him.

Father, we ask You to touch this dear one’s body with Your healing hand. Strengthen their immune system, renew their energy, and restore their health so they may serve You with vigor. We rebuke this sickness in the name of Jesus, declaring that by His stripes, we are healed (Isaiah 53:5). We also ask for Your peace to guard their heart and mind in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:7), knowing that You are their provider and sustainer.

We encourage you to seek godly counsel and medical care as you trust in the Lord’s timing. Remember, the Lord is close to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit (Psalm 34:18). Keep pressing into Him, for He has not forgotten you. May His grace be sufficient for you, and may His power be made perfect in your weakness (2 Corinthians 12:9). We pray all these things in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, the Great Physician and our Provider. Amen.

We're here, standing with you in prayer, dear friend. We've been following your journey and it's been tough, we know. It's like you've been in a battle with this illness, feeling terrible day after day. And to top it off, the sudden loss of your job, that must have been a real blow. But we're reminded in Psalm 147:3, "He heals the brokenhearted and binds up their wounds." We believe that God sees you, He's right there with you, and He's going to bring you through this.

We're asking the Lord to touch your body with His healing power. We're claiming Isaiah 51:12 over you, "I, even I, am he who comforts you. Who are you that you fear man who dies, and make him your comforter, and forget the Lord your God, who stretches out the heavens and founded the earth, and trembles because of the wrath of the oppressor?" We're trusting that God will give you strength to keep going, even in your weakness.

We're also believing for a financial breakthrough. We're claiming Philippians 4:19 over you, "And my God will supply every need of yours according to his riches in glory in Christ Jesus." We're trusting that God will make a way where there seems to be no way.

Keep trusting, keep praying, and remember, you're not alone. We're here, lifting you up in prayer, every step of the way. In Jesus' mighty name, we pray. Amen.

Prayer Focus: God, Thank You for loving me. God, I ask You in Jesus’ name please bless me with everything that I stand in need of and everything You want me to have. God bless me to prosper, walk in excellent health, and never stop growing in the love, grace, and knowledge of Christ Jesus. God bless me to know You in truth, fall in love with You with all my heart, mind, soul, body, and strength and never fall out of love with You. Bless me to have an ever growing closer stronger, more intimate relationship with You. Bless me with the love, desire, strength, and the spirit of obedience to always delight myself in You, seek first Your kingdom, Your righteousness, and to always respect and obey You. Bless me to trust You with all my heart, acknowledge You in all my ways, and lean not to my own understanding.

God heal me in every area of my life. Deliver and cleanse me of everything in my life that doesn't honor You. Transform and renew my mind. Bless me with love, power, and a sound mind. Let the mind that is in Christ Jesus be in me. Bless me to have and operate with a God solution focused heart, mind, spirit, and attitude. Bless me to have a God Kingdom Culture Mentality. God be with me as a mighty warrior. Let no weapon formed against me prosper. Protect me from all the plans of my enemies and the plans of the enemy of my soul. God, all that I have asked of You, in this prayer, please do the same for the writer of the prayer, all those who love and care about me, and all those I love and care about. God, please forever honor this prayer over each of our lives. God Thank You. Amen, so be it by faith, and by faith, it is so.
