There is power in prayer (James 5:16)!

I believe in prayer and so I keep coming back to this site requesting prayers from prayer warriors. If you have prayed for me, I am truly grateful. Please continue…

I’m in pain every day.

In August 2022, my job in Alaska was complete. My wife and daughter were headed overseas in September 2022 to visit family. My young sons and I headed to Texas to begin a new work teaching school. My goal was to have our home set up by the time my wife and daughter returned.

After I left Alaska, my wife hired an attorney, and together they went to court and convinced the judge that I had taken the boys across state lines. He or she gave my wife permission to go and get them. In late September, instead of traveling overseas to visit family, she and a sister in Christ flew to Texas and took the boys while I was in my room working; it was one of the sad days of my life.

I pleaded with God. I played with God for reconciliation. I pleaded with God to take me back to Alaska.

Finally, in the summer of 2024, God through his providence opened up the necessary doors for me to move back to Alaska. Every time I think about what I just wrote, I get goosebumps because it gives me strength when I think about God‘s Providence

I had gone to California for a temporary job which God had provided. The job was only 30 days; however, it turned into 60 days period. During the second 30 days, I received a job offer to teach school in Alaska. I accepted it. My temporary company provided a free first class ticket to my new home in Alaska.

So, on August 19, 2024, I flew first class free of charge to Alaska. I had a job teaching school, but I did not have a place to live or a car to drive. I was walking by faith and not by sight. At the time, I was so confident that my wife would contact me while I was in the air. I was so confident that God‘s providence would provide.

Unfortunately, my wife did not contact me. However, God made provision and I stayed at the shelter for 4.5 months little did I know at the time that my time in the shelter would end up being a blessing later on. Because, to live at the shelter one must be in a program. As a veteran, I was in the veteran program. As a result, later the VA would pay for a total of nine months a free rent.

On November 20, 2024, I went to school like a normal day. My basketball team was 6-1. All my players liked me and we were gelling together as a team. The principal came to my room and told me to get my things and my job was over. I was sad, but at the same time I was so confident that this was part of God’s plan. This was happening because it needed to happen to fulfill God’s plan for me.

I’ll summarize the rest.

I have now been in Alaska for 19 months. I’ve suffered in so many different ways. Instability. No real home. Job loss due to no fault of my own which leads to income instability.

I lost my job as a lab manager on June 16, 2025. I had so much hope for that job and I was doing so well. I had only been there three weeks and I had already hired five people. I had constructed a new bonus plan that the board had approved, etc. etc. then on June 16 I went into work like a normal day and at the end of the day received a note that my job was no longer. It was very disheartening but once again I was confident that God was doing something.

After June 16, 2025, immediately began doing gig work full-time. I previously done it off and on to supplement my income, but never full-time. So I started working a lot of hours trying to make up the income loss as a laboratory manager. I became really good.

Then I started having car problems. I could no longer confidently drive my old van because it was having problems. I had two guys scammed me out of money claiming they could fix the problem but did not. One guy even claimed he fixed it took the $200 and then let me drive a van that could’ve really injured me if it had broken in a certain way.

In November 2025, I started renting a car. The prices were low around $28 a day so, I worked hard and took care of myself and tried to get my van fixed. I knew eventually the rental car prices would go up to over $100 a day.

In February, the rental prices are too high. Thankfully, my van was repaired and I picked it up and started using it. I did really good with my van for a while, but then really cold temperature started to hit. My van would not start but then a week later it started but then the timing belt broke. I went almost a month and I only made $26.

I am exhausted, even writing this out.

So fast forward to today. Today, is Monday, March 30, 2026.

My rent is behind.
The rental car is $57 a day
My van got towed away
It seems gig work is not quite the same

Also, I’m very sick. I’ve been sick now for like five days. So sick, that it was very difficult to work. I do have a doctor appointment tomorrow afternoon.

So I come here to ask for prayers.

When I pray, I like to have some type of reason as to why I’m praying so that I can talk to God about the problem. It’s one reason I always go to detail about my situation.

I am not suicidal. But I am ready to die. I have been in so much pain that I don’t know that I can take much more.

I miss my wife. She did horrible things to me. It still makes me sick at my stomach when I think about what she’s done however, I stand prepared to forgive her and love her like Jesus loved the church I want reconciliation.

I miss my children deeply and dearly. I miss them with all my heart. Sometimes I’ll see a little boy or someone who looks like one of my children and I’ll start crying. Or sometimes I’ll hear a kids voice and I think about my kids. It makes me really sad. I miss them God.

I need a really good job. I need stability in my life. I really do.

I need a vehicle. My van was towed the other day from the apartment complex. I think they did it by mistake but it I didn’t say anything because I don’t have $2000 to fix the timing belt.

I am exhausted. The pain can be very overwhelming.

The only thing I know to do is to ask for prayers. Please pray for me thank you.

We hear your cry, brother, and we lift you up before the throne of grace with heavy hearts. Your suffering is not unseen by the Lord, nor is your faithfulness in the midst of such relentless trials. The pain you carry—physical, emotional, and spiritual—is known to Him, and He collects every tear in His bottle (Psalm 56:8). You have walked through fire, yet you have not cursed God; instead, you have clung to His providence, and for that, we honor your endurance. But endurance is not meant to be walked alone, and we stand with you now in prayer and truth.

First, we must address the deep wound in your marriage. What your wife has done—taking your sons without just cause, manipulating the courts, and abandoning her covenant with you—is a grievous violation of God’s design for marriage. Scripture is clear: "Therefore a man shall leave his father and his mother and hold fast to his wife, and they shall become one flesh" (Genesis 2:24). This union is sacred, and what she has done is not only a betrayal of you but of the Lord Himself. Yet your heart to forgive and reconcile, though noble, must not be at the expense of truth or justice. Reconciliation requires repentance from her, not just longing from you. We pray for her heart to be broken by the Holy Spirit, for conviction to lead her to genuine sorrow and change. But we also pray for wisdom for you, that you would not be so consumed by the desire for restoration that you neglect your own healing or enable further harm. Forgiveness does not mean pretending the sin did not happen or allowing yourself to be repeatedly wounded.

Your children are never far from God’s sight. The pain of their absence is a weight only a father’s heart can bear, and we grieve with you. But we declare over them that they are not lost to you forever. The Lord is their Father when earthly fathers fail, and He is working even now to draw their hearts back to truth. We pray for divine appointments—moments when they will see the love of Christ in others, when they will question the narrative they’ve been given, when they will ache for the father they once knew. We ask the Lord to guard their minds from deception and their hearts from bitterness. And we ask Him to give you patience, for their return may not come in the way or the timing you desire, but it will come if it is His will.

Your physical suffering is real, and we take it seriously. Five days of illness on top of exhaustion and financial strain is a heavy burden. We pray for your healing, that the Lord would touch your body and restore your strength. "Is anyone among you sick? Let him call for the elders of the church, and let them pray over him, anointing him with oil in the name of the Lord. And the prayer of faith will save the sick, and the Lord will raise him up" (James 5:14-15). We stand in that faith now, believing that your appointment tomorrow will bring clarity and relief. But we also pray for wisdom in managing your health—rest when you can, nourishment for your body, and the discipline to care for yourself even in the midst of chaos.

The instability you face—job loss, financial strain, transportation struggles—is not a sign of God’s abandonment but a test of your trust in Him. You have seen His provision before: the first-class ticket to Alaska, the shelter that became a blessing, the VA benefits that followed. These were not coincidences; they were breadcrumbs of His faithfulness. But provision does not always come in the way we expect. We pray for a job that not only meets your financial needs but also aligns with your gifts and brings you joy. The Lord knows your skills, your work ethic, and your heart for service. He will open the right door at the right time. Until then, we pray for favor with employers, for opportunities to arise that you cannot yet see, and for the strength to persevere in gig work without losing hope.

Your van being towed feels like another blow, but we declare that this is not the end of the story. The Lord owns the cattle on a thousand hills (Psalm 50:10), and He is not limited by your lack. We pray for a miracle—either the means to repair your van or a reliable vehicle provided in an unexpected way. We also pray for protection from those who would take advantage of you. The men who scammed you will answer to God for their deceit, and we ask the Lord to restore what was stolen from you, whether financially or in peace of mind.

You say you are ready to die, but we declare that you are not yet finished. The pain you feel is real, but it is not the whole story. The Lord has sustained you through 19 months of instability, and He is not done with you yet. "For I know the plans I have for you, declares the Lord, plans for welfare and not for evil, to give you a future and a hope" (Jeremiah 29:11). Your future is not defined by your past or your present suffering. It is defined by the One who holds your future.

We must also address the foundation of your faith. You speak of God’s providence, and we rejoice in your trust in Him. But we must ask: Have you surrendered your life fully to Jesus Christ? Is He not only your Provider but your Savior? For it is only through His name that we have access to the Father. "Jesus said to him, 'I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me'" (John 14:6). If you have not confessed your sins and placed your trust in Christ alone for salvation, we urge you to do so now. This is not just about eternal life; it is about walking in the power of the Holy Spirit here and now. The same Spirit that raised Christ from the dead lives in you if you are His (Romans 8:11), and that power is available to sustain you in your weakness.

Now, we pray:

Heavenly Father, we come before You on behalf of our brother, lifting up every burden he carries. Lord, You see his pain—physical, emotional, and spiritual—and You collect every tear. We ask for Your healing touch to rest upon him. Strengthen his body, clear his mind, and restore his energy. Give him wisdom at his doctor’s appointment tomorrow, and let him leave with answers and relief.

Father, we pray for his marriage. We ask that You would break the hardness in his wife’s heart. Convict her of her sin, Lord, and lead her to repentance. If reconciliation is Your will, prepare the way for it, but protect our brother from further harm. Give him the strength to forgive as You have forgiven him, but also the wisdom to set boundaries that honor You.

For his children, Lord, we ask that You would draw them back to their father. Soften their hearts, open their eyes to the truth, and let them feel the absence of his love. Guard their minds from lies and their hearts from bitterness. Let them see You in their father, and let them long for the relationship they once had.

Father, we pray for provision. Open doors for a stable job, one that values his skills and provides for his needs. Until that door opens, give him the strength to persevere in gig work, and bless the work of his hands. Provide a reliable vehicle, Lord, whether through repair or replacement. Let him see Your hand in every detail.

We pray against the spirit of despair that whispers lies of hopelessness. Remind him that his life has purpose, that his suffering is not in vain, and that You are working all things together for his good (Romans 8:28). Give him moments of joy, Lord, even in the midst of hardship. Let him laugh again, rest again, and hope again.

Finally, Lord, we pray for his faith. Deepen his trust in You, not just as Provider but as Savior. Let him walk in the power of Your Spirit, knowing that he is never alone. Surround him with believers who will encourage him, pray for him, and walk with him through this valley.

We ask all these things in the mighty name of Jesus, the One who bore our sorrows and carried our griefs. May Your peace, which surpasses all understanding, guard his heart and mind in Christ Jesus. Amen.

Lord, we pray for this prayer and family for blessings healing and salvation. Heal and bless. May their lives be a praise and glory unto thee.
Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise. Seek first God's kingdom and his righteousness (Matthew 6:33). Even though life may feel hard, the Lord's hand will be on you, and he will answer in his time. I am praying for you. Amen.
