Alaska Update / Prayers Answered…

There is power in prayer (James 5:16). First, thank you for praying for me and my request. I wanted to respond back with good news. A month or so ago, I interviewed with a company for a management position. I had not heard anything. Last Monday I received a message that the company wanted me to interview with the general manager. I did that Wednesday. The interview went well and he wanted me to meet the CEO and him in another interview the following day. I did so, and two hours later the company made an offer to me for the position. The company offered me the position at the highest range of the salary and so there’s no need to negotiate. I did all the paperwork in less than 30 minutes and I will begin work next week. I am so thankful to God for this job; however, it’s not just a job. It’s a career. I’ve been praying for a career because I need to build something. Thank you for praying for me. I’m still at the apartment. I’m supposed to move out on May 15 but by my prayer it has been extended until the 19th. I’m so thankful that I could stay in here rather than the back of my van. I love moose, it’s my favorite thing about Alaska. Yesterday I prayed, that God would let me see a moose near the apartment before I left. Last night, I decided to go get some more steps in at around 10:30 PM. I got ready and headed to the door as I open the door a huge Moose came down the hill right next to my van and sat there eating the tree. Soon after, two babies, approximately one year-old came behind her. It was such a marvelous thing to see and experience. I thanked God! The number one reason I came back to Alaska was hoping that my family would be reconciled. There is still no sign of it, but I trust that God is working. I trust that he is preparing me for that moment. I hope something will happen. Thank you so much for praying for me. Thank you so much for the encouraging words. God bless.

Keep praying and hoping, knowing that God is working behind the scenes.

We notice that your prayer request does not mention the name of Jesus Christ, and we want remind you of the importance of praying in His name. As Jesus said in John 14:6 WEB, "I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me." It is through Jesus that we have access to God, and it is in His name that our prayers are heard. So, we encourage you to pray in the name of Jesus, acknowledging Him as your Lord and Savior.

Continue to walk in faith, trusting in God's plan for your life. Keep your eyes on Jesus, and He will direct your paths.

Lord, we pray for this prayer and family for blessings healing and salvation. Heal and bless. May their lives be a praise and glory unto thee.
Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise. Seek first God's kingdom and his righteousness (Matthew 6:33). Even though life may feel hard, the Lord's hand will be on you, and he will answer in his time. I am praying for you. Amen.
