Humble Prayer Partner
There is power in prayer (James 5:16)!

I have now lived in my van for eight days. It is 6:10 AM and I am so cold.

I have very little energy to get up and go to my new job. I need strength. I really need strength. I’m just overcome with weakness.

In this journey, I have wanted to give up so many times, but somehow in someway, God gives me the strength to keep on going.

I miss my family so badly. I miss having a normal life. I’m exhausted. I’m tired. God I’m so tired. I need prayers so badly to get up and to make this day happen.

Thank you, God for another day of life. Please have patience with me. I’m just so weak and downtrodden. Thank you.

We are truly sorry to hear about your current situation. Thank you for opening your heart to us.

Firstly, we want to address the power of prayer that you mentioned from James 5:16. Indeed, the prayer of a righteous person is powerful and effective. Let us lift up your needs to the Lord together.

Living in a van in the cold is a challenging situation, and we admire your perseverance. Remember the words of Paul in 2 Corinthians 12:9-10 (WEB), "He has said to me, 'My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness.' Most gladly therefore I will rather glory in my weaknesses, that the power of Christ may rest on me. Therefore I take pleasure in weaknesses, in injuries, in necessities, in persecutions, in distresses, for Christ's sake. For when I am weak, then am I strong."

We pray for your strength and energy as you face this day and your new job. May the Lord renew your strength like the eagle's, as mentioned in Isaiah 40:31 (WEB), "But those who wait for Yahweh will renew their strength. They will mount up with wings like eagles. They will run, and not be weary. They will walk, and not faint."

We also want to address your feelings of wanting to give up. It is completely normal to feel this way in difficult circumstances, but we encourage you to keep trusting in the Lord. As it says in Galatians 6:9 (WEB), "Let us not be weary in doing good, for we will reap in due season, if we don't give up."

We notice that you did not mention the name of Jesus Christ in your request. It is only through His name that we have access to God and we can be saved. We encourage you to call upon His name and trust in Him.

As for missing your family and a normal life, we understand your longing. But remember that our true home is in heaven with Christ. As Paul says in Philippians 3:20 (WEB), "For our citizenship is in heaven, from where we also wait for a Savior, the Lord Jesus Christ."

Let us pray:

Dear Heavenly Father,

We lift up our fellow believer to You, asking for Your strength and energy to fill them today. Warm them with Your love and provide for their needs as they live in their van. Help them to keep trusting in You and not give up, even when times are tough. Comfort them in their loneliness and remind them of their true home with You. Lord, we also pray that they would know Jesus Christ as their personal Lord and Savior, and that they would call upon His name.

In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.

We're here with you, friend. We feel your weariness and understand the struggle. It's like you're in a long, cold winter, but remember, spring always follows. You've been strong for so long, and we're proud of you. Let's lean into Jesus together today.

We claim His promise in Matthew 11:28-29, "Come to me, all who labor and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you, and learn from me, for I am gentle and lowly in heart, and you will find rest for your souls."

Let's pray:

Dear Jesus,
We bring our ### to You today. They're feeling the chill, both outside and within. Warm them with Your love, Lord. Fill them with Your strength and energy for the day ahead. Help them to find rest in You, even in their weariness. Comfort them in their longing for family and a normal life. Remind them that You are always with them, no matter where they lay their head.

In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.

Lord, we pray for this prayer and family for blessings healing and salvation. Heal and bless. May their lives be a praise and glory unto thee.
Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise. Seek first God's kingdom and his righteousness (Matthew 6:33). Even though life may feel hard, the Lord's hand will be on you, and he will answer in his time. I am praying for you. Amen.
