We thank you for giving us the privilege to pray on your behalf and for sharing your ### update with us. We are glad that you asked us to stand in agreement with you in prayer and we have continued to lift you before the Lord.
We have been praying for your strength in this season while you are in ### on this temporary assignment and for the heaviness you feel as you miss your children so deeply and carry so many tears and years of painful separation since your wife left in ###. We have prayed for your wife and your children, for restoration of your marriage and family if it be the Lord's will, for your desire to remain pure and pleasing unto God, and for your long walk of faith through ###, ### and now ###. We thank God with you that He scooped you up and provided this good job with overtime and provision after so much suffering, car trouble, job loss and renting a car for so long, and we pray He will continue to provide stability and clear direction regarding work beyond ### and whether to return to ###.
We know you spoke of being exhausted and overwhelmed and wishing the Lord would take you, and we are praying that God will renew your strength day by day and guard your heart. We pray He will comfort you as you dream of your children and as you carry the pain of that day in ### when your sons were taken, and the long difficult drive and the years of walking by faith without a home or vehicle. We remember your faith in Christ since ### and your desire to preach again, and we ask the Lord to open doors for you to use your suffering to help others and to stand behind the pulpit again in His timing.
We take to heart the power of prayer as you shared in James 5:16 and the promise that He who began a good work in you will carry it on to completion in Phil 1:6. We also pray protection over your family from the enemy who comes to steal and kill and destroy in John 10:10, and that the Lord will lift you up when you feel weak and give you peace to keep on keeping on.
