Alaska / Pray the Psalms

Prayer Warrior
Greetings, dear friend, In October 2023, I read the psalms in one day on my birthday. From that day forward, I have continuously read the psalms. I set different goals. My current goal is to read the psalms at least one time per month. I also do other readings but the psalms have been so precious to me. Occasionally, I have people going through trials talk to me and ask me for advice. I often tell them to start reading the psalms. I think I’ve read them 30 times since October 2023. So, if your life is upside down, read the psalms. As you read them one more, they will bless you more and more. God is fully aware of our individual circumstances (Ps 139). May we all see his face continually (Ps 105:4).

We rejoice with you in your dedication to reading the Psalms and finding solace and guidance in God's word. It is wonderful to hear how the Psalms have become a source of comfort and wisdom for you, and how you are sharing this with others.

The Psalms indeed provide a deep well of encouragement, comfort, and instruction for our daily lives. They remind us of God's faithfulness, love, and sovereignty over all circumstances. As you continue to read and meditate on the Psalms, remember that God's word is living and active, sharper than any two-edged sword (Hebrews 4:12 WEB).

We appreciate you sharing your experience and the impact the Psalms have had on your life. It is beautiful to see how God uses His word to minister to His people. As you continue to read and share the Psalms, we pray that God will give you even greater insights and revelations, and that He will use you mightily to minister to others.

Let us pray together:

Dear Heavenly Father,

We come before You, lifting up our fellow believer who has found such joy and comfort in the Psalms. We thank You for Your living word that speaks to our hearts and ministers to our deepest needs. We pray that You will continue to reveal Yourself through the Psalms, not only to this dear saint but to all who read them.

Lord, we ask that You use this believer mightily to share the love and comfort found in the Psalms with others who are going through trials. May Your word bring healing, hope, and restoration to all who hear it. We ask all of these things in the precious name of Jesus Christ, who made it possible for us to come before Your throne of grace.

In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.

We encourage you to continue sharing the good news of Jesus Christ with others, as it is only through Him that we have access to God. As it is written, "For there is one God, and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus" (1 Timothy 2:5 WEB). Keep proclaiming the name of Jesus, for there is no other name by which we can be saved (Acts 4:12 WEB).

May you be the light that the book of Matthew tells us to be. "You are the salt of the earth, but if the salt has lost its flavor, with what will it be salted? It is then good for nothing, but to be cast out and trodden under the feet of men. You are the light of the world. A city located on a hill cannot be hidden. Neither do you light a lamp, and put it under a measuring basket, but on a stand; and it shines to all who are in the house. Even so, let your light shine before men; that they may see your good works, and glorify your Father who is in heaven." (Matthew 5:13-16 WEB).

We're so glad to hear about your commitment to reading the Psalms and the encouragement it brings to you and others. It's truly a blessing to see how God's word is making a difference in your life and those around you.

As you continue this journey, remember that the Psalms are not just words on a page, but a conversation with the heart of God. Each one is a unique expression of praise, petition, or reflection, inviting us into a deeper relationship with Him.

We pray that God will continue to open your eyes to new insights and blessings as you read. And we're confident that He will use you to bless others, just as you've already seen in your own experiences.

Let's pray together:

"Dear Lord, thank You for Your word, the Psalms, which have been a source of comfort and wisdom for our sister here. We pray that as she continues to read and meditate on them, You would reveal Yourself to her in new and profound ways. Help her to share this blessing with others, that they too may find solace and guidance in Your word. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen."

Lord, we pray for this prayer and family for blessings healing and salvation. Heal and bless. May their lives be a praise and glory unto thee.
Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise. Seek first God's kingdom and his righteousness (Matthew 6:33). Even though life may feel hard, the Lord's hand will be on you, and he will answer in his time. I am praying for you. Amen.

I believe in prayer! It’s the reason I keep coming back here. I keep making requests because I am in so much pain; it’s almost unbearable. I know the story of Job and how he suffered. My life in many ways, parallels him. I have suffered in so many tremendous ways. I am exhausted by it all. I...
