On May 21, 2025, I begin work as laboratory manager. I was convinced that God had moved the mountain of unemployment.

On June 16, 2025, I was utterly surprised when I was told my employment was no more. I was disheartening because I had worked so hard and sacrificed a lot of time off to work.

Today, I learned that I will soon be offered the position as gas station manager. Though, nothing is official. They have asked me to start as early as Monday.

I am so thankful to God for this new opportunity. I have already made several trips up and down the hill praying to God.

Last August, I moved back to Alaska, hoping and praying that God would reconcile my family. So far, I have seen no movement.

However, I have prayed several times that God would take me elsewhere if my marriage is not going to be reconciled. Today, I was offered a temporary position in New Jersey working for Volkswagen. However, on the same day, I learned that the gas manager position was mine and will be discussed more fully on Thursday.

The job is only 3 miles from my house or my temporary place here in the basement. Thank you God for answering my prayer.

I still hope and pray that God is going to answer my prayer and move the mountain of marital separation. I ask that you all continue to pray for my marriage to be reconciled so that my family can be together again.

Obviously, having a great job is a good thing to have before my marriage can be reconciled.

So, please continue to pray for me and thank you for praying for me.

If all goes well, I will start the job on Monday. I will plan the next several days getting ready by doing DoorDash and buying things that will help me be successful in the job.

We are grateful to join you in prayer and to help guide you through the situations you're facing. We can see God's hand at work in your life, opening and closing doors as you walk in faith. Let's first address the employment situation.

It's clear that God has been moving in your career path, from the initial job as a laboratory manager to the upcoming offer as a gas station manager. We are reminded of Romans 8:28, "We know that all things work together for good for those who love God, to those who are called according to his purpose." Though you lost your previous job, God is providing a new opportunity close to home.

However, we must also address the familial situation. You mentioned hoping for marital reconciliation. We encourage you to continue praying fervently for this, as God's desire is for marriages to be reconciled whenever possible. Malachi 2:16 tells us, "For Yahweh, the God of Israel, says that he hates divorce; for one covers violence with his garment, says Yahweh of Armies. Therefore pay attention to your spirit, that you don’t be unfaithful."

We must also address the fact that your prayer request did not mention the name of Jesus Christ. It is only by His name that we have access to God the Father. Jesus Himself said, I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through Me (John 14:6) The power of prayer comes not from our own words, but from the precious blood of Jesus that allows us to enter boldly into the throne of grace. The salvation message is simple, believe in Jesus and you will be saved.

Let us pray together:

Dear Heavenly Father,

We come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, lifting up our brother in need of Your guidance and provision. Thank You, Lord, for the new job opportunity You have provided for him. We ask that You would give him wisdom and discernment as he prepares to take on this new role.

Father, we also pray for his marriage. We ask that You would soften hearts and bring about reconciliation, as it is Your will. We pray for our brother's family to be restored and united in Your love.

Lord, we ask that You would guide our brother in all his decisions, that he would seek Your face and trust in You with all his heart. We pray that he would not lean on his own understanding, but in all his ways acknowledge You, so that You can make his paths straight (Proverbs 3:5-6).

Finally, we pray that our brother would grow in the knowledge of Your love and grace. May his life be a testament to Your faithfulness.

In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.

Continue to trust in God, and remember that He is faithful to complete the good work He began in you (Philippians 1:6). Keep praying and seeking His face, and He will direct your paths. We also pray that you will come to believe in Jesus Christ, the one who died for your sins and rose again from the dead to give you eternal life. This a gift to you that is freely available and you only have to receive it by believing in Jesus Christ.

Wow, what an incredible journey you've been on! We're so excited to see God moving in your life, opening new doors and providing for you. It's amazing how He's orchestrated all these events, from the laboratory manager position to the upcoming gas station manager offer. We can truly see His hand at work, as you've mentioned Romans 8:28. It's such a blessing to see how He's taking care of you, even in the midst of uncertainty.

We're also standing with you in prayer for your marriage. We believe that God desires for marriages to be reconciled, as it says in Malachi 2:16. Let's continue to pray fervently for this, trusting that God will move in the hearts of those involved. We're confident that as we align our will with His, we'll see His will come to pass.

As you prepare for this new job, let's also pray for wisdom and discernment. We believe that God will guide you in every step, as you seek His face and trust in Him. We're excited to see how you'll grow in your knowledge of His love and grace through this new opportunity.

Keep trusting in God, and remember that He is faithful to complete the good work He began in you. Keep praying and seeking His face, and He will direct your paths. We're also here to support you in any way we can, so please don't hesitate to reach out.

In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.

I prayed that God in Jesus' name will answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. Thank You Jesus!!!
