Alaska / Post ### Interviews

There is power in prayer (James 5:16)!

If you have prayed for me, thank you. I am truly grateful for each and every prayer on my behalf. Please continue.

Yesterday, was a busy day for me. I had two job interviews, one at 9 AM on the army base and one at 2 PM in town.

Both interviews went very well, I thought. I like both opportunities and both opportunities pay very well. I’m so thankful to God for the opportunity to interview.

This morning, I received a follow up email from the 2 PM interview asking me to interview again on July 17. That’s the job managing a gas station.

I continue to try and walk by faith and not by sight. I am trusting God to lead me in the direction he wants me to go. He knows that I need a job and badly.

Tomorrow, I have a video interview for a good position in ###, ###. ### is such a beautiful place with lots of bears and rain. I love the rain (Acts 14:17)!

I’ve been doing DoorDash to try and make ends meet. This morning I went to work at 3:55 AM and had issues with the app and support and everything; it was so frustrating that I ended up going home. It was a reminder that DoorDash is just a Band-Aid.

I still suffer greatly from dreams. I dream about my children, etc. I continue to pray fervently for reconciliation. Sometimes, ask the question, “God what are you doing?”.

Please continue to pray for me

I need a good career/job.
Marriage reconciliation
Family together
A great place to live
Peace and strength

I often feel alone. Only a few people seem to care about me. It’s one reason I keep coming here asking for prayers.

I’m confident God hears our prayers. I’m confident God knows our situation better than we do (Ps 139).

I continue to read the Psalms at least once a month, striving to draw closer to God in every way. Yes, I believe in Jesus and the name of Jesus.

Thank you so much for your prayers! I pray God will help you in whatever difficulties you’re dealing with right now.

We are glad to hear that you have been trusting God through all the circumstances you are facing. It is encouraging to see your faith in Jesus and your belief in the power of prayer. As we seek God's will together, let's remember the words of James 5:16, "Confess your offenses to one another, and pray for one another, that you may be healed. The insistent prayer of a righteous person is powerfully effective."

Firstly, we want to address the importance of praying in the name of Jesus. You mentioned your belief in Jesus, which is wonderful. As we pray, let's remember that it is through Jesus that we have access to God. As it is written in John 14:6, "Jesus said to him, 'I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me.'" And in Acts 4:12, "There is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven that is given among men, by which we must be saved!"

Now, let's bring your requests to God:

Dear Heavenly Father,

We come before You in the name of Jesus, lifting up our brother who is diligently seeking Your will for his life. We thank You for the job opportunities that have come his way, and we ask for Your guidance as he prepares for the upcoming interviews. Give him wisdom and discernment to know the right path, and open the doors that You would have him walk through.

Father, we also bring before You his desire for marriage reconciliation and family togetherness. We pray that Your will be done in this situation, and that You would bring healing and restoration where it is needed. Help him to trust in You, even when the path is unclear.

Lord, we ask for Your provision in his life. Give him a good career and a great place to live. Help him to find his joy in You and to know that You are always with him.

Father, we pray for peace and strength for our brother. Help him to know that he is not alone, and that You are always with him. Give him the support and encouragement that he needs, and help him to find community in Your body.

Lord, we also pray for his struggles with dreams and frustrations with work. Help him to cast his anxieties on You, because You care for him. Give him the patience and perseverance to keep moving forward, knowing that You are working all things together for his good.

Finally, Father, we thank You for his faith and his desire to draw closer to You. Help him to continue to grow in Your Word, and to know Your love more deeply each day.

We ask all these things in Jesus' name, amen.

In your struggle with loneliness, be encouraged by the words of Psalm 68:6, "God sets the lonely in families." You are not alone, and God is always with you. Keep trusting in Him, and He will direct your paths.

Regarding reconciliation, we encourage you to keep praying and seeking God's will. Remember the words of 1 Corinthians 7:10-11, "But to the married I command—not I, but the Lord—that the wife not depart from her husband (but if she departed, let her remain unmarried, or else be reconciled to her husband), and that the husband not leave his wife." God's desire is for reconciliation and restoration, so keep trusting in Him.

As you go through this process of finding a job, remember the words of Proverbs 3:5-6, "Trust in Yahweh with all your heart, and don’t lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight." God is faithful, and He will direct your steps as you trust in Him.

Finally, regarding your struggles with dreams and frustrations, remember the words of 1 Peter 5:7, "Cast all your worries on him, because he cares for you." God knows your struggles, and He is always there to help you. Keep trusting in Him, and He will give you the strength you need.

We want to encourage you with something from Psalm 147:3, "He heals the brokenhearted and binds up their wounds." We believe that God is close to you, and He sees your situation. Keep trusting in Him, and remember that He's working all things together for your good (Romans 8:28).

We're also praying for your upcoming interviews. We ask God to guide you, give you wisdom, and open the right doors for you. We believe that He will help you find the job that's best for you.
