There is power in prayer (James 5:16)!

First, thank you for each and every prayer.

I have been really struggling with deep, deep sadness and despair (Ps 130:1-2).

I’m not suicidal, but I have prayed fervently that God would let me die in my sleep. I hate thinking like that, but the pain is so overwhelming. I am just being honest.

In less than a year, I have lost two really good jobs. I slept in my van 28 nights. I almost died on December 29, 2024. I have missed my wife and children deeply. I am exhausted.

Two weeks ago, I was told that I was the new manager at the gas station down the road. It was a hot paying job and it would’ve been a huge blessing to me. I asked God if it’s not your will please shut it down. He did!!

Yesterday, I spoke to a small church in Texas near the coast within miles of the beach. He and I spoke for probably 45 minutes. The church is only 45 members on a good Sunday but they can pay pretty decently. I would still need to get another job which I will be willing to do. So, when I got home, I contacted or messaged 8 to 10 schools looking for math or science, teachers or both.

I am prepared to move back to Texas to preach the gospel and teach school or manage someplace. If God opens up the doors, I will go.

I love my wife, and I love my children. I continue to pray, fervently that God will soften her heart and bring her to repentance. Every Sunday, I hope and pray that she will hear a sermon that will change her thinking.

“The wise woman builds her house, But the foolish pulls it down with her hands (Prov 14:1).”

I have already heard back negativity from at least one school. The principal, a lady, indicated interest in me, but she told me she just hired her last math teacher.

Again, I am confident if it is God’s will for me to go there Something will happen. There will be an open door that I cannot shut.

Please pray for these things.

I love my family with all my heart. I realize this life is temporary and like a mist or vapor. I belong to be in His presence.

In these prayer requests, always try to give an update to my situation, but I realized that some people have long forgotten about my previous request so I try to update my situation.

DoorDash

For the last several weeks, I’ve been getting up at two or 3 AM to go to DoorDash. I was at McDonald’s and I said something to one of the managers. From getting any more orders from McDonald’s. That is not good because McDonald’s gave me a lot of orders, especially in the morning.. So, I have had to change my routine to get orders. I keep praying that she will have a change of heart. From the electronic list so that I get more orders. Again, I view everything as the confidential hand of God.

In conclusion, please pray for the following:

Strength, I need strength.
Marital reconciliation, a miracle.
See my children. Family together.
A new job/career
A new home to live in.
Stability, out of limbo… Happiness!

Thank you for praying for me. I really appreciate each and every prayer on my behalf.

We are truly heartbroken to hear about the deep sadness and despair that you are feeling, but we are thankful that you are not suicidal. We want to remind you that God is close to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit Psalm 34:18 WEB. We are praying for you to experience the comfort and peace of God in your life.

We want to address the fact that you mentioned God but did not mention the name of Jesus Christ. It is only by the name of Jesus that we have access to God. "For there is one God, and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus," 1 Timothy 2:5 WEB. There is no other name by which we can be saved. "Neither is there salvation in any other, for there is no other name under heaven that is given among men by which we must be saved!" Acts 4:12 WEB.

We are praying that God will deliver you from the pain that is overwhelming you and that He will replace it with His joy. "You have put gladness in my heart, more than when their grain and their new wine are increased." Psalm 4:7.

We are also praying for your financial situation, that God will open up a door for a new job or career that cannot be shut. We are encouraged to hear that you are willing to work multiple jobs to make ends meet. "Let us not be weary in well-doing, for in due season we will reap if we do not faint." Galatians 6:9 WEB.

Regarding your marriage, we are praying for a miracle of reconciliation. We pray that God will soften your wife's heart and bring her to repentance. We pray that she will hear a sermon that will change her thinking and bring her to a saving knowledge of Jesus Christ. "Love is patient and is kind; love doesn't envy. Love doesn't brag, is not proud," 1 Corinthians 13:4 WEB. We have to understand that a wife is a gift from God. It is only through the love of Jesus Christ that she would be able to reconcile.

We are also praying for you to have the strength that is needed for each day. "I can do all things through Christ, who strengthens me." Philippians 4:13 WEB.

We are praying for you to find a new home to live in, for stability in your life, and for happiness. "Ask, and it will be given you. Seek, and you will find. Knock, and it will be opened for you." Matthew 7:7 WEB.

Regarding the situation with DoorDash and the McDonald's manager, we are praying that God will soften her heart and that you will be able to get more orders. We pray that God will provide a way for you to make ends meet while you are waiting for a new job or career to open up.

Finally, we want to encourage you to continue to pray and seek God's will for your life. We pray that you will find hope and encouragement in the Lord.

Father, in the name of Jesus Christ, we lift up our brother to you. We pray that you will deliver him from the pain that is overwhelming him and that you will replace it with your joy. We pray for his financial situation, that you will open up a door for a new job or career that cannot be shut. We pray for a miracle of reconciliation in his marriage, that you will soften his wife's heart and bring her to repentance. We pray that you will give him the strength that is needed for each day. We pray that you will provide a new home for him to live in, for stability in his life, and for happiness. We pray that you will provide a way for him to make ends meet while he is waiting for a new job or career to open up. We pray that you will give him hope and encouragement in the Lord. We pray that you will guide him in your will for his life. We ask this all in the name of Jesus Christ, Amen.

We're right there with you, brother. We can feel the weight of your sadness, and we want you to know that you're not alone. We're lifting you up in prayer, just as you've lifted up your situation to us.

We're praying for God to fill you with His joy, to replace the overwhelming pain with His peace. We're asking Him to open up new job opportunities for you, and to provide for your needs in the meantime. We're also interceding for your marriage, asking God to soften your wife's heart and bring her to repentance.

And we're praying for strength, brother. Strength to face each day, to keep moving forward, and to trust in God's plan for your life. We're asking Him to guide you, to give you hope and encouragement, and to provide for your needs.

We're also praying for a new home for you to live in, for stability, and for happiness. We believe that God has a plan for your life, and we're asking Him to reveal it to you.

We're here for you, brother. Keep fighting the good fight, and know that we're right there with you, praying for you every step of the way. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.

I prayed that God in Jesus' name will answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. Thank You Jesus!!!

It is 3:43 AM and I have been doing DoorDash over one hour this. I’ve made two deliveries. On June 16, 2025, I received bad news; I would no longer be employed as a laboratory manager. It was very unsettling, considering all the hard work I’d put in the job. At the time, I had lived in my van...
