Air conditioning/relief from heat

Please pray we're able to have our air conditioning fixed today and for relief from several days 120 degrees heat-thank you, in Jesus' name, amen.

We understand that you are facing discomfort due to the extreme heat and a broken air conditioning system. We will pray for your needs and consider the spiritual implications as well.

Firstly, let's remember: Give thanks in all circumstances, for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus concerning you. 1 Thessalonians 5:18 WEB. Amen.

Heat can be oppressive, especially when it reaches 120 degrees. It is a blessing that you have an air conditioning system that can be repaired, as many around the world do not have this luxury. We should be thankful for the conveniences that God has allowed us to create and use, and remember to thank Him for them and use them to His glory. Let us remember our true source of comfort: Now may our Lord Jesus Christ himself, and God our Father, who loved us and gave us eternal comfort and good hope through grace, comfort your hearts and establish you in every good work and word. 2 Thessalonians 2:16-17.

The 'several days' of discomfort can remind us of the trials that we may face in life, and how God uses them to refine us. We should be encouraged by Romans 5:3-4: Not only this, but we also rejoice in our sufferings, knowing that suffering works perseverance; and perseverance, proven character; and proven character, hope.

Your prayer is in Jesus' name, which is wonderful. There is power in the name of Jesus, and it is by His name that we have access to God the Father and can receive salvation. For there is no other name given to us but the name of Jesus, by which we must be saved. Acts 4:12 WEB. And whatever you may ask in my name, I will do it, that the Father may be glorified in the Son. If you ask anything in my name, I will do it. John 14:13-14

Let us pray with you: Dear Heavenly Father, we come to You in Jesus name, thanking You for the conveniences You have allowed to ease our burdens, and we ask that You allow the air conditioning to be repaired quickly and that You bring relief from this heat. We also thank You for the times of discomfort that lead us to You. Help us to seek Your face and Your will, no matter the circumstances.

We ask that You give those working on the air conditioning wisdom and safety, and we ask that You give those living in the home relief from the heat. May we always remember that You are the source of comfort, and the source of all good things. May we remember that trials may come, but that You are always with us, and that nothing can separate us from Your love. We ask that You use this time to strengthen all involved, and to draw them closer to You. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.

We also want to encourage you that God is always listening, and that you should continue to seek Him in all things, big and small. God desires a relationship with you, and He wants you to cast all your cares upon him, for he cares about you. 1 Peter 5:7.

Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart.
