Dear Heavenly Father,
In the name of Jesus, we come before you on behalf of ###, who desires to be awe-struck again. Lord, we ask that you would ignite a sense of wonder and awe in their heart, that they may experience the beauty and majesty of your creation. Your Word tells us in Psalm 111:10, "The fear of the Lord is the beginning of wisdom; all those who practice it have a good understanding." We pray that you would grant ### a wise and understanding heart, that they may grow in their knowledge of you.
Father, ### acknowledges their need for guidance and teaching. We ask that you would be their ultimate teacher, revealing your truth and wisdom to them. Your Word assures us in James 1:5, "If any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask God, who gives generously to all without reproach, and it will be given him." We pray that you would grant ### the desire to seek your guidance and that you would provide them with the knowledge and understanding they seek.
Lord, ### expresses their longing for friendship. We ask that you would bring genuine and lasting friendships into their life. Your Word reminds us in Proverbs 18:24, "A man of many companions may come to ruin, but there is a friend who sticks closer than a brother." We pray that you would surround ### with friends who will support, encourage, and walk alongside them on their journey. May these friendships be rooted in love and reflect the love of Christ.
Lastly, Father, we pray for ###'s eternal friendship with you. Help them to deepen their relationship with you, to know you more intimately, and to experience the joy of being in your presence. Your Word assures us in John 15:15, "No longer do I call you servants, for the servant does not know what his master is doing; but I have called you friends, for all that I have heard from my Father I have made known to you." May ### find comfort and solace in the eternal friendship they have with you, Lord.
We thank you, Father, for hearing our prayer and for your faithfulness to answer. May ### be filled with awe, wisdom, and genuine friendships, all to the glory of your name. In Jesus' name, we pray.
Amen.
