Please pray for the African American community to be set free from false teachings. Pray for God to raise up teachers in that community who will lead people truly to Christ and not astray. Pray for wolves to be removed from it and no longer able to lead people astray or harm them. Pray for our healing and protection from racism and hatred that is directed toward us from literally the entire world. Thank you.

We hear your heartfelt cry for the African American community, and we stand with you in fervent prayer, lifting these concerns before the throne of grace in the mighty name of Jesus Christ. It is only through Him that we have access to the Father, and it is by His name alone that we are saved (Acts 4:12). We pray that the eyes of many would be opened to the truth of the Gospel, that they may turn to Christ and be set free from every deception.

Father God, we come before You with heavy hearts, asking that You would expose and remove every false teacher and wolf in sheep’s clothing who seeks to lead Your people astray. Your Word warns us in Matthew 7:15, "Beware of false prophets, who come to you in sheep’s clothing, but inwardly are ravening wolves." Lord, we ask that You would raise up godly men and women within the African American community, teachers, pastors, and leaders who are rooted in Your Word, filled with Your Spirit, and committed to preaching the unadulterated truth of the Gospel. May they lead with integrity, humility, and a deep love for Your people, pointing them to Christ alone.

We rebuke every false doctrine, every teaching that distorts the truth of Your Word, and every influence that seeks to draw people away from the simplicity of devotion to Christ. We declare that the African American community will not be deceived, but will be firmly established in the truth, walking in the freedom that only comes through knowing Jesus (John 8:32). We pray for a revival of true biblical teaching, where the Gospel is preached in its fullness, and where the power of the Holy Spirit transforms lives.

Lord, we also lift up the pain of racism, hatred, and injustice that has been directed toward the African American community. Your Word tells us in 1 Peter 2:17 to "honor all men," and in James 2:9 that showing partiality is sin. We repent on behalf of those who have perpetuated hatred, prejudice, and division, and we ask for Your forgiveness. We pray for healing, emotional, spiritual, and physical, for those who have been wounded by the sins of others. May Your love, which transcends all barriers, break every chain of bitterness, resentment, and fear. We declare that no weapon formed against the African American community will prosper (Isaiah 54:17), and that Your peace, which surpasses all understanding, will guard their hearts and minds in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:7).

We also pray for protection over this community, Lord. Shield them from the schemes of the enemy, who seeks to steal, kill, and destroy (John 10:10). Surround them with Your angels, and let Your presence be a fortress around them. We ask that You would raise up intercessors, men and women who will stand in the gap, praying fervently for the protection, unity, and spiritual growth of the African American community.

Father, we thank You for the rich heritage of faith within the African American community. We honor those who have gone before, who endured hardship and persecution yet held fast to their faith in You. We ask that You would continue to build on that legacy, raising up a generation that will walk in righteousness, love, and truth. May the African American community be a light to the nations, a testimony of Your grace, and a people who reflect Your glory.

We pray all these things in the precious and powerful name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior, who alone is the way, the truth, and the life (John 14:6). May Your will be done, and may Your kingdom come in the hearts of Your people. Amen.

We hear you, and we are grieved by the weight of what you carry for your community, the longing for truth to shine clearly, for wolves to be silenced, for wounds from racism to be healed. It is a heavy thing to feel that hatred comes from everywhere, and we do not take that lightly. We are standing with you in prayer, and we want to lift these very real burdens together.

While we pray for God to raise up faithful teachers and to remove those who lead astray, we also believe He works through the faithful gathering of His people. One practical step can be simply to connect, or stay rooted, in a local church that faithfully points to Jesus, where the Word is taught without twisting, and where the beauty of Christ is held high. In that kind of healing community, the truth is not only heard but lived out, and wounds have space to be tended. If you haven’t already, you might also gather with a few trusted believers to pray specifically into the deeper places of pain from racism, inviting Christ to touch memories and restore what hatred has damaged. That kind of focused prayer, in the safety of His presence, can bring real healing over time.

We know this is not a quick fix, and the scars run deep. But we hold onto the hope that Jesus sees, He defends, and He will build His church in every community, raising up voices who lead people not astray but straight to Him.

Jesus, we ask You to purify Your bride in the African American community. Remove every wolf and raise up teachers who love Your truth and care for Your sheep. Heal the deep wounds caused by racism and hatred, and bring protection and dignity where there has been rejection. Let Your people find their security and identity in You alone. The prayer you offer ascends as incense from an altar of grief and holy hope. False teachers are indeed wolves in the midst of the flock, and against their doctrine we must kindle a righteous hatred, even while we love their souls enough to long that they be reclaimed. It is the Lord’s own word, “I send you forth as sheep in the midst of wolves,” yet the Shepherd is ever near; the sheep are multiplied and the wolves grow fewer. Cry out that the Lord would raise up shepherds who will feed the people with knowledge and understanding, whose teaching will bring healing even as Christ coupled His mighty works with His word. The leaves of the tree are for the healing of the nations, and the very least thing about Jesus is charged with curing power for the broken-hearted.

Touching the hatred poured upon your people without a cause, remember Him who went about doing good, healing all manner of sickness, and yet was despised and rejected. They hated Him without the shadow of a cause. Their scorn cannot harm you while you abide under the shadow of His wings. The God that keepeth Israel neither slumbers nor sleeps; His river of protection flows on with undiminished volume. In seasons of joy and of sorrow alike, prove your sincerity by a prayerful walk with Christ, and forsake not the way of your godly forebears who held fast the truth. The Sun of Righteousness has risen with healing in His wings; the blessed balm of His Atonement has lost none of its power. He will heal the diseases of your community and give you men who shall be to you as physicians of souls. Look to Calvary, and the pardoning hand that also restores.

The prayer you lift up for your people is a cry that rises from a deep affliction, and it is right to groan under the weight of falsehood and hatred. But see that you do not fix your eyes so intently on the wolves outside that you leave the door unguarded for the wolves within. The most dangerous predators are not those who openly snarl with racist contempt; they are the ones that creep in wearing piety like a sheep's fleece, whose speech is smooth as oil yet whose hearts are set on scattering the flock. Beware of false prophets, for inwardly they are ravening wolves. Christ Himself warned this, and the Apostle wept as he foretold that after his departure grievous wolves would enter in, not sparing the flock. The first poison to purge from your community is not the world's scorn but the venom of teachers who lead souls away from the one true Bridegroom, who cash the gospel for profit, or who peddle a Christ of their own invention. Pray without ceasing that God would raise up shepherds after His own heart, men who will not shun to declare the whole counsel of God, who will endure hardship, and who will stand in season and out of season to reprove, rebuke, and exhort with sound doctrine. But do not only pray; train your ears to know the Shepherd's voice. The soul that does not daily feast on the words of Scripture grows too weak to discern truth from falsehood, and becomes easy prey. Let no season be set apart from holy teaching, lest your appetite for spiritual food wither and you starve amidst a famine of hearing the word of the Lord.

Now as for the hatred that is directed toward you from so many quarters, do not let the wounds of racism become an occasion for your own souls to be corrupted. It is a severe trial, and I do not diminish it. But hear this mystery: so long as you remain sheep, you conquer; if you become wolves in retaliation, you are defeated. The Shepherd departs from those who cease to be sheep, for He feeds not wolves but a gentle flock. The world may hate you, but do not answer bite with bite. The unwonted array of Christ's army is to send lambs into the midst of wolves, not to transform into wolves themselves. When you are ill used and yet show gentleness, then the power of God shines brightest, and your enemies are confounded by a victory they cannot understand. This is not weakness; it is the very strategy by which heaven overthrows hell. Endure affliction, then, not with sullen resignation but with that holy patience which cries out for justice while refusing to become the mirror image of the oppressor. Racism is a rabid beast, but it is not the master of your soul unless you let it drive you to hate in return. Pray for protection, yes, and for healing, but let the healing begin inside the fold, where lies have done their worst damage. When the Church walks in the truth and manifests the meekness of the Lamb who was slain, she becomes a fortress that no weapon of scorn can breach. The Bridegroom's voice still calls; let those who stand and hear Him rejoice, and let that joy be your strength until the day He silences every false tongue and gathers His sheep into a kingdom where hatred is no more.

What you have written bears the weight of a deep and righteous concern. That longing for true teaching and for the safety of a community from those who would exploit it is a holy desire. Scripture speaks plainly to this, warning us that where God is doing a work, the enemy works too. In every age, alongside the true, there have been the false, and they do not arrive wearing signs that announce their intentions. They come dressed in what looks like wool, speaking a language that sounds familiar. The deceptive power lies in the mixture, where so much of what is said is undeniably true, which makes the introduced error all the more difficult to detect until it has already done its damage. A false teacher does not build with open rebellion initially but with a subtle, private reinterpretation that slowly leads hearts away from the lordship of Jesus Christ. The fruit of their work is not a deeper clinging to Him but a false comfort, a permission to remain unchanged while believing oneself to be secure.

The prayer for true teachers to be raised up is therefore exactly on point. A true teacher does not draw followers to a personality or a movement, nor is the bottom line a transaction. The motivation is not to build an empire off the people, but to faithfully feed the flock with the Word of God itself, which is the seed that brings life and the power that enables us to partake in a godly nature. That kind of teaching does not soothe with empty promises of peace that requires no repentance, but it builds a foundation that can withstand any storm. It is a teaching that makes Christ the great initiator and us the humbled respondents, leading to a life of genuine surrender, not a show of religious activity. This is what protects and heals.

You also speak of the profound hurt of bearing the hatred of the world, of the specific sting of racism. It is a suffering that touches the soul, and being a beloved child of God does not grant some immunity card against these deep sorrows and trials. We are all exposed to the harsh elements of a fallen world. But it is precisely in the truth of the Word that we find our unshakeable identity and the promise that we are not alone in the fire. The One who is the Truth sees every act of injustice, and His judgment on the wolves, both the spiritual deceivers and the violent oppressors, is certain. The healing you long for is found not in the absence of the storm, but in the presence of the Shepherd who leads you through it, whose Spirit works a deep, lasting wholeness that the world cannot give or take away. We pray for just laws and for protection, yes, but our ultimate hope is in His coming and in the strength He provides for a quiet and godly life even in the midst of hostility.

Thank you for bringing this before the throne of grace. We join you in asking God to sweep away the smoke and mirrors, to remove the wells that have no water, and to cause His true light to shine brightly through faithful men and women who will teach with the authority of the Word and the servant-heart of Christ. May He expose the works of darkness and raise up a powerful, living testimony to the truth that sets people free indeed.
