Dear Lord Jesus, That friend I’ve been praying for another prayers being mystery at work. He has OCD please help use it to his advantage and contact the ADA ASAP. To get these terrible employees and employer to stop throwing him under a bus. They are hiding something with their illegal actions and using him as a. scapegoat. He cars about the customers they would leave them for dead and cover up their tracks. In Jesus Name amen.

We join you in lifting up your friend before the Lord and we thank you for standing in the gap for him with such care and persistence. We hear the burden you carry for him as he faces mystery, injustice, and being made a scapegoat at work while also navigating OCD, and we bring all of this before our Father together in Jesus' name.

We pray first for your friend's heart and mind. The Lord sees how deeply he cares for customers when others would neglect them, and how his attention to detail, which can feel so heavy with OCD, also reflects a conscientious and faithful spirit. We ask God to turn what feels like a struggle into a testimony of His strength and to give your friend peace that guards his heart. For God didn't give us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and self-control 2 Timothy 1:7. We claim also the promise that in nothing be anxious, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus Philippians 4:6-7. The Lord is close to the brokenhearted, and saves those who are crushed in spirit Psalm 34:18, and we ask Him to draw near to your friend in this season of pressure and to quiet the intrusive thoughts and anxiety with His perfect love.

We also bring the workplace injustice before the God of all justice. It grieves us to hear that he is being thrown under the bus and that illegal actions may be hidden while he is blamed. Nothing is hidden from our God, and He is a refuge for the oppressed. Yahweh will be a high tower for the oppressed, a high tower in times of trouble Psalm 9:9. For nothing is hidden that will not be revealed, nor anything secret that will not be known and come to light Luke 8:17. We pray that every scheme and cover up would be exposed in God's timing and that truth would prevail. It is joy to the righteous to do justice Proverbs 21:15 and we ask the Lord to give your friend courage and favor as he seeks help through the ADA. We pray for wisdom for him to contact the appropriate resources promptly, to document everything with integrity, to seek wise and godly counsel and, if needed, qualified legal guidance, and to be protected from retaliation. Learn to do well. Seek justice. Relieve the oppressed Isaiah 1:17.

We encourage you to continue to stand with him, to help him commit his way to the Lord and trust that He will bring justice to light as the noon day Psalm 37:5-6, while remembering that vengeance belongs to the Lord Romans 12:19. Our role is to walk in truth, to speak up with grace and firmness, and to trust God to act.

We pray together now, Father in heaven, we lift up this dear friend to You in the name of Jesus Christ. You know his struggle with OCD, You know the weight of anxiety and the desire to do what is right for customers, and You know the injustice he faces at work. We ask You to use the gifts You have given him, his diligence and care, for good, and to bring healing and peace to his mind. Lead him clearly to the help he needs through the ADA and other proper channels, open doors for accommodation and protection, and give him favor with those who can intervene. Expose what is being hidden, stop those who would use him as a scapegoat, and convict the hearts of those employers and employees who act illegally to repent and do what is right. Surround him with Your protection, provide for his needs, and let Your justice and mercy be seen in this situation. Strengthen his friend who intercedes for him, and let both of them feel Your presence and guidance. We ask all this in the mighty and saving name of Jesus, amen.

Alongside prayer, we encourage him to stay connected to his own doctor or counselor for support during this work strain, if he has one. For the work concerns, the ADA is a civil rights law that addresses equal employment opportunity and reasonable accommodations, and there are free, confidential resources that can explain how that process generally works and what steps are typically involved.

A gentle next step could be helping him write down dates, facts, and concerns as they happen, and encouraging him to seek confidential guidance about ADA questions from a trusted advocate, like the Job Accommodation Network or a local legal aid clinic, rather than carrying it alone.

Father, we lift this friend to You. You see his heart for others, his distress at work, and his health needs. Grant him wisdom, steady support, protection, and clear next steps. Give his friend who prays for him encouragement as well. In Jesus' name, amen.

Your prayer for your friend has been brought before the Lord and before His people, and we join you in seeking mercy and justice at the throne of grace.

We hear the heaviness of this burden. To be made a scapegoat, to see wrongdoing hidden and to feel thrown aside by those who should act with integrity, is a sore trial. And to bear this while wrestling with OCD, which can make every thought and duty feel heavier, is a double weight. The Lord knows the frame of His creatures and He is not unmoved by such oppression.

Scripture teaches us that our God is slow to anger, yet He will not at all acquit the wicked. His justice is not hasty nor is it blind. He sees what is done in secret, what is covered up, and what is laid upon the innocent. Vengeance belongs to Him, and He will in His own time and way bring hidden things to light. At the same time we are taught that divine justice has been most fully displayed not in the immediate punishment of sinners, but in the punishment of sin laid upon Christ our Substitute. There at Gethsemane and at Calvary, justice spent its fury upon the Saviour so that sinners who flee to Him might be pardoned and yet God remain just. If your friend knows Christ, let him remember that even when earthly justice fails, he stands accepted before the great tribunal because Jesus bore his sin. If he does not yet know Him, may this trial drive him to that only refuge where justice is satisfied and mercy flows.

We also remember that anxiety in difficulty often unfits us to meet that difficulty. To be anxious about wrongs at work, and to carry that anxiety alone, will wear down the spirit. We are called to cast our cares upon the Lord, to tell Him all, and then to act with sober wisdom and quiet diligence. God does interpose for His people, not always by miracle, but by providence, by opening doors of help, by restraining the hand of the oppressor, by giving strength to endure and wisdom to act rightly.

Therefore we pray with you, and we counsel your friend in the fear of God to walk in a way that is above reproach. Let him continue to care for customers and to do his work faithfully as unto the Lord, keeping a clear conscience. Let him seek wise and lawful help without delay. If he believes his condition entitles him to protection or accommodation, it is right and prudent to seek information from the proper authorities such as the ADA and to seek godly counsel and, if needful, sound legal counsel, keeping careful and truthful records of what has occurred. To expose wrongdoing is not revenge but a desire that truth be known and that harm be prevented.

Let us pray together.

O Lord our God, Thou who art slow to anger and great in power, Thou seest this our brother in his affliction. Thou knowest his infirmity and his anxious thoughts, and Thou knowest the injustice he suffers at the hands of others. Have mercy upon him. Quiet his mind, steady his hands, and give him grace to use even this affliction for good, with diligence and honesty. Grant him favor as he seeks lawful help, and give wisdom to those who are appointed to administer justice. Restrain the evil doer, uncover what is hidden, and protect the innocent from being made a scapegoat. Keep our brother from bitterness and enable him to commit his cause to Thee who judgest righteously. Above all, show him Christ, in whom justice and mercy meet, that he may find peace with God and rest for his soul. Guide him day by day, provide for his needs, and let integrity and truth prevail in that workplace. We ask this in the name of Jesus Christ our only Saviour and Advocate, Amen.

May the Lord keep your friend, give him counsel that is faithful, and give you grace to continue to bear him up in prayer.
