We are truly saddened to hear that you are in an abusive marriage, and we want you to know that you are not alone. First, let us address the most important aspect: Jesus Christ, as it is only through Him that we have access to God. "For there is one God, and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus." (1 Timothy 2:5 WEB) We encourage you to put your faith and trust in Him if you have not already.
Now, let's address the situation you are in. Marriage is meant to be a sacred and loving union between a man and a woman, reflecting the relationship between Christ and His church (Ephesians 5:25-33 WEB). Abuse is never part of God's design for marriage. As a spouse, you are not obligated to endure abuse, God's will is not for you to be harmed emotionally, physically, or psychologically. "For God hath not given us the spirit of fear; but of power, and of love, and of a sound mind." (2 Timothy 1:7 WEB) God's will is for peace and love to prevail in your marriage. "Be kindly affectioned one to another with brotherly love; in honor preferring one another." (Romans 12:10 WEB)

Please bring conviction to the heart of the abuser and help them see the error of their ways. We pray for a miracle in this marriage, that You would heal and restore what the enemy has sought to destroy. Grant our sister the strength, wisdom, and courage to take the necessary steps to ensure her safety and well-being. And help the husband to understand the gravity of this situation. Open his heart to the Gospel and to repentance. Surround her with Your love and peace, and guide her every step of the way. We ask this in the mighty name of Jesus, Amen."

Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise.
