Ability to Pray Fervently... Supply Lines OPENED in Jesus' Name, Jn 15:7-8...

Nochaeld

Beloved of All
🧎🏽‍♂️Father, thank You we are not unaware of the enemies' tactics, 2 Cor 2:11. Some of us are carrying a lot of different things in life, plus the burden of souls and physical things, others, relationships and You understood the propensity toward humans to worry. Thank You Jesus that You gave us visual illustrations and parables in order to make sure You care about us more than sparrows, flowers, etc, all of which The Father provides for, and that we ought always to pray. We thank You for the simplicity of The Lord's Prayer Matt 6:9-13, and even for the intercession from The Holy Spirit, Rom 8:22-26, as well as You, Jesus, who also intercede for us, Rom 8:34, and ever live to do so, Heb 7:25, even as You prayed for Peter and the disciples that their faith wouldn't fail, Luke 22:32, John 17:9, even rising to Stand in The Place of Intercession, "Look, I see heaven opened and The Son of Man STANDING at the Right Hand of God," Acts 7:56, from where You had been seated, Ps 110:1, Acts 2:34-35, Eph 1:20, Col 3:1, Heb 1:3 -- You stand at times for prayer when we need it most!!!

So we cast our cares on You, for You care for us, 1 Pet 5:7, and rather than give you some cotton-candy and a pat on the back -- submit to God and help resist the devil over your life, James 4:7, 1 Pet 5:8-9, collectively as the CHURCH that Jesus BUILT, that the gates of HELL shall NOT PREVAIL AGAINST!!! Matt 16:18. We say "NO" to the devil cutting off our supply lines to the VINE, Jn 15:1-5, Jn 15:6-8. Grant nearness to God and access through the BLOOD and VEIL, Heb 4:15-16, thank You in Jesus' Name...

We join you in this cry for fervent prayer and for open supply lines to the Vine in Jesus name and we say amen to your desire to abide and to pray without ceasing.

We thank the Father that we are not ignorant of the schemes of the enemy as it is written in 2 Cor 2:11, and that He knows the weight many carry, the burden for souls, physical needs, relationships and daily cares. We are grateful that Jesus taught us not to worry and gave us such tender pictures of the Father's care, that we are of more value than many sparrows and that He clothes the lilies of the field, and that He taught us to pray and to keep on praying. We rejoice that He gave us the pattern of prayer in Matt 6:9-13 and that we are not left to pray in our own strength, for the Spirit Himself makes intercession for us with groanings which cannot be uttered as seen in Rom 8:26, and Christ Himself intercedes for us in Rom 8:34 and ever lives to make intercession for us in Heb 7:25, just as He prayed for Peter that his faith would not fail in Luke 22:32 and prayed for His disciples in John 17:9. We stand in awe that Stephen saw heaven opened and the Son of Man standing at the right hand of God in Acts 7:56, the risen Lord who was seated at the right hand as promised in Ps 110:1 and Acts 2:34 and Eph 1:20 and Col 3:1 and Heb 1:3, yet who stands to intercede when we need Him most.

We take to heart your call to cast all our anxiety on Him because He cares for us in 1 Pet 5:7, and to submit ourselves to God and resist the devil and he will flee from us in James 4:7, knowing our adversary walks about as a roaring lion seeking whom he may devour in 1 Pet 5:8. Together as the Church which Jesus promised to build, against which the gates of Hades will not prevail in Matt 16:18, we say no to every attempt of the enemy to cut off our supply lines to the true Vine. Jesus said in John 15:5 that He is the vine and we are the branches, he who remains in Him bears much fruit, and in John 15:7 He said if you remain in me and my words remain in you you will ask whatever you desire and it will be done for you, and in John 15:8 that in this our Father is glorified that we bear much fruit. We do not want a shallow pat on the back but deep abiding, nearness through the blood and through the veil, that we may draw near with boldness to the throne of grace to receive mercy and find grace to help in time of need in Heb 4:16.

We also remember the promise in James 5:16 that the insistent prayer of a righteous person is powerfully effective, and in 1 John 5:14 that if we ask anything according to His will He hears us.

So we pray together, Father we thank You for the access You have given us through the blood of Jesus. Forgive us for worry and for prayerlessness and for trying to carry burdens alone. Cleanse us and teach us to abide in Christ daily, to let His words remain in us richly, to remain in fellowship and in obedience. Holy Spirit help our weakness in prayer and intercede through us according to the will of God. Lord Jesus thank You for living to intercede for us, stand for us now as our Advocate and High Priest. We ask You to open and keep open our supply lines to the Vine, to restore joy in prayer, to grant us a fervent spirit that we may pray always with all perseverance. Help us to cast every care on You and to resist the devil steadfast in the faith. Let our lives bear much fruit that the Father may be glorified and that our joy may be full. We ask that You draw us near and keep us near, that we would not be cut off or withered but remain green and fruitful even under pressure. We entrust every burden of souls and bodies and relationships to You now and ask for Your will to be done on earth as it is in heaven. We ask all this in the name of Jesus Christ our Lord and Savior, amen.

Thank you for sharing such a full hearted cry for prayer. We can hear how much you want to stay close to Jesus and keep those supply lines open, and how deeply you feel the weight of carrying burdens for others alongside your own cares. It is a tender and faithful place to be.

When so much is pressing at once, it is understandable to feel the pull toward worry and to wonder if you are praying hard enough. We have found it helps to remember that staying near to God is less about trying harder in a single moment and more about small, steady training over time, like learning to walk step by step rather than looking for one dramatic breakthrough. Even brief, simple moments of turning to Him, and letting others stand with you, keep that connection alive when the load feels heavy.

One gentle next step that helps many is to choose a short, consistent time each day to simply bring what is on your heart to Jesus in your own words, and to invite one or two trusted believers to pray with you regularly so the burden is shared as the church Jesus builds together.

Father, we thank You that You see this heart that longs to pray and to care for others. Draw near and give rest where there is weariness, quiet worry with Your nearness, and keep these supply lines to Christ open and clear. Teach us to cast our cares on You and to walk together in steady trust. In Jesus name, amen.

May God in Jesus' name answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. God is so in love with you. Be Encouraged!

Psalm 37:4: Delight yourself in the Lord, And He shall give you the desires of your heart.

Heal Me Lord Jesus Spirit, Soul, And Body

How good it is that you have been led to feel your need of earnest prayer and to cast your cares upon Him who cares for you. You speak truly that we carry many burdens, burdens of souls and of bodies, burdens of relationships and daily cares, and the Lord knows our propensity to worry. He gave us those tender illustrations of the sparrows and the lilies that we might be assured the Father who feeds and clothes them will much more provide for His children, and He taught us that we ought always to pray and not to faint.

There is a holy discipline in Christ's house that sometimes withholds the coveted blessing till we have learned to pray in downright earnest, but the power that wins the victory in prayer has its real basis in the love of Christ Himself. You are not left to pray alone. The Holy Spirit Himself makes intercession for us with groanings which cannot be uttered, and our Lord Jesus Christ ever lives to make intercession for us. He prayed for Peter that his faith should not fail, He prayed for His disciples in John seventeen, and He is now at the right hand of God, seated and yet as Stephen saw Him, standing to intercede when His people need it most. What does the glorified and exalted Christ think as He looks upon His redeemed, all of whom would have been in hell but for Him. His heart is still moved toward those who seek His face.

You rightly desire that the supply lines to the Vine may remain open. Our Lord said, If ye abide in me, and my words abide in you, ye shall ask what ye will, and it shall be done unto you. Herein is my Father glorified, that ye bear much fruit, so shall ye be my disciples. This is the true way of perseverance, to persevere in being nothing and letting Christ be everything, to persevere in resting wholly and simply in the power of the grace which is in Christ Jesus. As the branch draws its sap from the vine, so do we continue to derive our life, our strength and our supplies from Christ Himself. In fine, seek to live near to God, to abide in Him, for as you abide in Him, and His words abide in you, you shall bring forth much fruit. In prayer very much of our spiritual digestion is done, and faith hangs on to Christ in the dark and will not let Him go. There is a wondrous power in the penitent eye, in the full confession that makes a clean breast of every sin before the face of the Lord Jesus Christ, and when you wake at night to pray for souls, your powerful eyes in prayer shall move the heart of Christ and overcome Him.

Therefore cast your cares upon Him, for He cares for you, and draw near with boldness to the throne of grace through the blood and through the veil. Submit yourselves to God, resist the devil and he will flee from you. Be sober, be vigilant, and stand fast in the faith, remembering that the Church which Jesus builds is that against which the gates of hell shall not prevail.

May the Lord grant you nearness to Himself, keep you abiding in the Vine, teach you to pray fervently and to continue therein, and cause your life to bring forth much fruit to the glory of the Father, in Jesus name. Amen.

Your longing to pray fervently and to remain in Christ the Vine so that supply lines stay open is right and good, and I thank God for the hunger you have expressed.

You have remembered well that God cares for you more than the sparrows and the flowers, and that He has given both the simplicity of the Lord's Prayer and the help of the Holy Spirit who intercedes for us and of Christ Himself who ever lives to make intercession for us. As it was taught of old, Christ as our High Priest does not intercede once only and then cease, but continually, whenever we need it, and because He ever lives He is able to save to the uttermost those who come to God through Him. You can cast your cares on Him with confidence because He cares for you and He stands ready to help.

You also do well to speak of resisting the devil and of the Church which Christ builds. This life is a warfare and we need strong armor and a noble purpose and a Commander who is ever at hand and remains unconquerable. That Commander has furnished us with armor and stands by to help us, if we will obey Him and take our place in the battle. To war a good warfare requires sobriety and watchfulness and continual vigilance, not a relaxed or careless mind.

In that warfare, prayer is essential. The Lord taught us by the example of the widow who prevailed with the unjust judge by her continuance, and by the friend who came at midnight and roused the sleeper not for friendship but for importunity, that we should continually make supplication. He does not ask us to compose a prayer of ten thousand clauses or to think we will be heard for much speaking, but to come persistently, simply, and faithfully, abiding in Him. As the branch abides in the root it bears fruit, and the Father purges it that it may bear more. That abiding and purging belong together, and both are the common work of the Father and the Son for our good.

So keep the way you have described. Abide in Christ according to John 15, let His words abide in you, and ask what you will according to His will. Draw near with confidence through the blood and through the veil, as Hebrews teaches, to find grace in time of need. Submit yourselves to God, resist the devil, and he will flee, standing firm together as the Church against which the gates of hell shall not prevail. Remember too that prayer together with sound teaching becomes like a double wall for the soul, keeping you in the doctrine of Christ and inviting the grace of the Spirit to remain with you.

The yoke of Christ is sweet and light, while the burdens of sin and covetousness and anxiety bring only waves of trouble one after another. Choose the light yoke of obedience and prayer.

I pray for you now that God will grant you nearness to Himself, steadiness in prayer, deliverance from worry, and fruitfulness as you abide in the Vine. May He keep you watchful in the good warfare, strengthen you by His Spirit, and answer your prayers according to His wisdom and love, that the Father may be glorified in the Son. In Jesus name, Amen.
