Abba Father deliver me

You cry out for a financial miracle, weary and burdened, and this is no small thing in your eyes. But consider carefully why you call upon God. Is it only when catastrophe looms that you seek Him? Let us not be like the multitude who followed Christ not because they saw His wonders, but because they ate the loaves and were filled. The Lord fed the five thousand, yet He did not repeat that miracle endlessly, lest they cling to their belly and not to the things of the Spirit.

You say you give this burden to God because you can no longer carry it. This is good, for strength comes when we cease relying on ourselves. But do not test God by demanding a sign of His care. True deliverance is not always the sudden arrival of money. Have you forgotten that John the Baptist did no miracle, yet drew multitudes by a life of holy poverty? That Job, stripped of everything, displayed an endurance firmer than adamant, and God called him blessed? That David was a man after God’s own heart long before he wore a crown? It is the practice of virtue and a life shaped by Scripture that draws down grace, not clamoring for wonders.

Your weariness is real, and God knows your need for food and shelter. But examine your heart: if relief comes today, will you love God for His gifts or for Himself? Many have been harmed by miracles sought amiss, pride, division, and greed have crept in where faith should have grown. Let us rather learn to wait upon Jesus with a steadfast mind, trusting that He who clothes the lilies and feeds the sparrows sees your necessity. Seek first His kingdom and His righteousness, and these earthly things will be added in His time and manner.

Do not interpret present hardship as abandonment. The apostle Paul was imprisoned, yet his preaching ran all the more freely. So your soul, bound by affliction, may still bear witness to patience and hope. Lift your eyes from the overdue bills and the empty cupboard, if only for a moment, and consider the greater miracle of a spirit that clings to God in the storm. That is the deliverance that outlasts every trial.

I hear the weariness in your words, and I want you to know that the place you’ve reached, where you know you cannot carry it any longer, is exactly where Jesus promised to meet us. You are heavy laden, and He calls you to come to Him for rest.

But let me gently offer a distinction that can lighten your soul even before the circumstances change. Often we look at a crushing financial strain and call it “the burden the Lord has given me.” Yet Jesus said plainly, “My yoke is easy, and my burden is light.” Something heavy, something that presses you down until you feel you might break, is not the load He places on your shoulders. God does not weigh His children down with a weight of constant anxiety about overdue bills and rent. He does not ask you to carry the impossibility of making one paycheck stretch beyond its capacity. Those pressures are real, but they come from living in a broken world, from our own tendency to try to manage everything ourselves, and sometimes from demands we or others place on us that God never ordained.

The heavy burden so many of us carry is the endless task of trying to secure our own lives, please ourselves, and keep everything under control. That yoke is brutal, and it leads to the very exhaustion you feel. Jesus offers the opposite: a life oriented toward pleasing the Father, trusting Him for daily bread, and letting His kingdom priorities reorder our frantic scramble. His burden is light. It does not groan, “I hope I can make it another day.” It rests in the care of a Father who knows what you need before you ask.

When you say, “I give this burden to You,” you are doing the right thing, but make sure you are not giving Him something He never gave you in the first place. He did not lay this weight on you. He invites you to drop that false burden completely and take up His instead. His burden for you today is simply to seek Him, to trust His provision one day at a time, and to do whatever small, obedient step He puts before you. The pressure to solve everything by tomorrow is not from His Spirit.

Remember how God has always provided for His people in desperate times, manna for the day, seed for the sower, bread to the full. He did not command us to carry the whole year’s supply on our own backs. The church in Jerusalem faced severe financial hardship, and God moved through the gifts of others to sustain them. That same God sees you. He is not indifferent to your need for food and shelter. Bring your need to Him with open hands, but refuse to accept the heavy yoke of panic and self-sufficiency. Let those weights fall at His feet, and ask Him to show you what His light burden looks like right now. It might involve practical steps, humbling requests for help, or a simpler trust that He will not let the righteous be forsaken.

You have been shouldering a weight that was never yours to carry alone. Jesus is not asking you to trade one heavy load for another. He is asking you to stop, take His yoke, and learn from Him. His way is gentle; His load is restful. Breathe that in, and let the catastrophes you fear be replaced by a quiet confidence that your Father sees you, loves you, and will feed you the bread you need until the harvest comes.

We want you to know how deeply we have carried your cry to our Abba Father over these past days. Your words—"I am tired and weary and I don’t know where to turn"—have echoed in our hearts as we lifted you before the throne of grace. We have stood in agreement with you, asking our Heavenly Father to intervene in your financial struggle, to provide for your overdue bills, your rent, and the food you need. We prayed that He would stretch your salary beyond its limits, turning what seems impossible into a testimony of His faithfulness.

We continue to trust that our God, who sees your need and hears your plea, is already at work. If He has already moved in ways you can see—whether through unexpected provision, open doors, or a peace that surpasses understanding—we would be overjoyed to hear your praise report. Your testimony could be the encouragement someone else desperately needs.

If, however, the weight of this burden still feels heavy and the answer hasn’t yet come, please don’t hesitate to post your request again. We are here to stand with you, to intercede on your behalf, and to remind you that you are not alone. Our Father is near to the brokenhearted, and He has not forgotten you. Keep seeking Him, keep trusting Him, and remember that His timing is perfect, even when it doesn’t align with ours.

May the Lord bless you with His peace, His provision, and His presence as you continue to walk this journey. We pray all these things in the mighty name of Jesus. Amen.
