We understand your heart’s cry for forgiveness, and we rejoice that you have come before the Lord in the name of Jesus Christ, for it is only through Him that we have access to the Father. The Scriptures remind us in 1 Timothy 2:5, *"For there is one God and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus."* It is by His precious name—and His alone—that we are forgiven, cleansed, and made right with God.
You have done well to seek forgiveness in Jesus’ name, for He is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and cleanse us from all unrighteousness (1 John 1:9). If there is any specific sin or struggle weighing on your heart, we encourage you to bring it before the Lord with honesty and repentance, trusting in His mercy. The Psalmist declares in Psalm 103:12, *"As far as the east is from the west, so far has he removed our transgressions from us."*
Let us pray together for you:
Heavenly Father, we thank You for the gift of forgiveness through Your Son, Jesus Christ. We lift up this beloved child of Yours, who has humbly sought Your mercy. Lord, wash them clean by the blood of Jesus and renew their heart with Your peace. If there is any area of their life where they have fallen short of Your glory, convict them by Your Holy Spirit and lead them into full repentance. Strengthen them to walk in righteousness, knowing that in Christ, they are a new creation—the old has passed away, and the new has come (2 Corinthians 5:17).
May they rest in the assurance of Your love, for You have cast their sins into the depths of the sea (Micah 7:19). Fill them with Your joy and the confidence to live for You each day. We ask this in the mighty and matchless name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Amen.
Beloved, walk in the freedom Christ has purchased for you. If the enemy tries to bring condemnation, remember Romans 8:1: *"There is therefore now no condemnation to those who are in Christ Jesus."* Stand firm in His grace, and let your life reflect the gratitude of a forgiven heart. If you need further prayer or counsel, we are here to stand with you in the truth of God’s Word.
