A woman has cancer

Please pray for a woman (###). She has a liver cancer. Pray healing for her. Thank you.

We come before the throne of grace with heavy hearts, lifting up in prayer as she battles liver cancer. Father God, we know that You are the Great Physician, the One who heals all our diseases (Psalm 103:3). We ask for Your mighty hand of healing to rest upon her, whether through medical treatment, divine intervention, or a combination of both. Strengthen her body, Lord, and grant her courage and peace as she faces each day.

We also pray for her spirit, that she would find comfort in Your presence. Remind her that even in the valley of the shadow of death, You are with her (Psalm 23:4). If she has not yet placed her trust in Jesus Christ, we pray that she would come to know Him as her Lord and Savior, for there is no other name under heaven by which we must be saved (Acts 4:12). Salvation is found in no one else, and it is only through Jesus that we have access to the Father.

Lord, we rebuke the spirit of fear and despair that may try to take hold of her. We declare that Your perfect love casts out all fear (1 John 4:18), and we stand on Your promise that all things work together for good for those who love You (Romans 8:28). Surround her with Your peace, which surpasses all understanding (Philippians 4:7), and fill her with hope as she trusts in You.

We also pray for her family and loved ones, that You would give them strength, wisdom, and comfort as they walk alongside her. May they be a source of encouragement and support, pointing her to You in all things.

Father, we ask all of this in the powerful name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Healer. May Your will be done in 's life, and may Your name be glorified through her testimony. Amen.

We’re grateful you reached out so we can pray together for this dear woman. It’s a heavy thing to watch someone face liver cancer, and we want you to know you’re not carrying this request alone. We join you right now in asking the Lord to bring healing to her body, and we trust that even in uncertainty, His presence remains constant and close.

Sometimes the knowledge that others are interceding can be a quiet anchor, so please take heart that many are lifting her up. If you’re nearby and able, simple acts of care, a warm meal, a brief visit, or a gentle note, can wrap her in a tangible sense of God’s love during hard days. But above all, we stand with you in prayer, believing that the Lord hears every whispered plea.

Jesus, we lift this woman before You, the One who knows every cell and hidden place. Please touch her liver and her whole body with Your healing power. Grant wisdom to every doctor and nurse, and surround her with Your peace when weariness and fear press in. Sustain her loved ones, and let her feel Your nearness in this valley. We ask all of this in Your name, trusting that You are able and that Your will is good. Amen.

You have brought a burden to the house of prayer, and we take it up with you. How often the sick one herself may be too weak to frame a petition, her soul at its wit's end, and yet even that reeling, wordless cry reaches the Throne. The Lord hears the prayer that has no sense in it, because the one who prays staggers on the brink. So be not discouraged; bring her before the Mercy Seat with all the urgency you can muster.

In this, copy Jacob. He spread his case before the Most High and pressed his suit with mighty arguments. You may do the same. Tell the Lord of His promises, of the leaves of the tree that are for healing, the least touch of Christ, the hem of His garment, holds virtue enough. Remind Him that His own Son bore our sicknesses, and that pardon and healing often walk hand in hand, as when the palsied man heard, first, “Your sins are forgiven,” then, “Take up your bed and walk.” The Sun of Righteousness has risen with healing in His wings, and He delights to display that power when His people unite in prayer.

Yet be watchful, lest unholiness or self-conceit drag the wheels from your petition. Let humility mark your pleading, knowing that you ask only upon the footing of free grace. And if the answer tarries, still cry out both day and night; for prayer, mighty prayer, will yet prevail if it has but time. The church pleading for individuals, that is one priceless use of the prayer meeting, and we join our hearts with yours even now. The healing power was conspicuously present when Christ was teaching, and it is present where His people teach one another to trust. So bring this dear sufferer often before the Lord in the gatherings of the saints, and believe that He who broke the bondage of sin and disease can say to her, “Be of good cheer,” and make it so. Rest your hope not in means or ordinances, but in the Good Physician Himself, who never yet turned away a soul that looked to Him. Amen.

May God in Jesus' name answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. God is so in love with you. Be Encouraged!

Psalm 37:4: Delight yourself in the Lord, And He shall give you the desires of your heart.
Matthew 6:33: But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you.

Heal Me Lord Jesus Spirit, Soul, And Body

You ask prayer for a woman with liver cancer, and rightly so, for prayer is a great weapon given to us by God. But let us not approach this petition lightly or with a careless heart. Many ask for healing, yet they remain at enmity with one another, nursing anger and refusing to forgive. How can such a one seek healing of God? The Scriptures say, One man keepeth anger against another, and doth he seek healing of God? Therefore, before we cry out for mercy for her body, let us first cleanse our own souls and be reconciled to our brethren. For prayer offered from a vengeful or impure heart is unlawful and brings no favor.

Moreover, let us pray with earnestness, not with a listless tongue. The blind men in the Gospel did not merely approach Christ, but with loud cries, alleging nothing else but mercy. So too, we must pour out our supplication with fervor, acknowledging that we deserve nothing and that all healing is a gift of mercy. Pray early, pray by night, make God propitious before you go forth to the daily fight of this world. And do not think that the prayers of others will suffice if you yourself slumber in sin. Though Noah, Daniel, and Job stood, they could not deliver a people hardened in wickedness. The prayer of the righteous avails much, but only when the one for whom it is offered also strives to be pleasing to God.

Therefore, let the whole church pray for this woman, and let her also, if she is able, cry out to the Lord with faith and repentance. And remember that the Lord Jesus, when He stood at the tomb of Lazarus, gave thanks to the Father not because He needed to, but to show that His will is one with the Father's and to teach us that true prayer is offered in union with God's will. We ask for healing, but let us say, If it be Thy will, grant her recovery; yet not our will, but Thine be done. For sometimes bodily sickness is permitted for the salvation of the soul, and to depart and be with Christ is far better. So we pray for mercy, for comfort, for strength to endure, and above all, for the healing of her soul, that whether in life or in death, she may glorify God. Cease not from this healing treatment of prayer, for even if the fruit does not appear immediately, persistent prayer will at last bring forth a harvest.
