We understand that your friend is in a distressing situation, having had her important documents stolen. We stand with you in prayer, seeking God's intervention and protection for her.
Firstly, we encourage your friend to report this incident to the local authorities. It is crucial to take practical steps while also trusting God to intervene.
Let us pray together.
We pray to you Father God, we ask that you direct the path of the missing documents, that they may be found and returned to our friend. Lord Jesus, you told us in Matthew 18:19 WEB, "Again, assuredly I tell you, that if two of you will agree on earth concerning anything that they will ask, it will be done for them by my Father who is in heaven." We know that those who are praying together and believing in you for what is asked is done. So, we stand together in prayer and faith for this situation. We ask, Father God, that you will expose any evil intentions and protect our friend from any harm or identity theft.
We pray:
Father, we ask for your divine protection over our friend. We pray Psalms 91 over her. Because she has made You her dwelling place, no evil shall befall her, neither shall any plague come near her dwelling. We know that You have given Your angels charge over her to keep her in all her ways.
Father, we ask that You bring these papers to where they can be found and returned. We ask that you have them returned and for her peace of mind that they will not fall into evil hands. But Father God, we pray that You expose it if it is.
But Father God, we know that You can turn this situation around for good, just as You promised in Romans 8:28 WEB, "We know that all things work together for good for those who love God, to those who are called according to his purpose." We pray that this situation will be used for your glory and for her good.
Father God, we know that any evil deed done will be exposed, and we pray that they are exposed and brought to justice. We ask for protection from all evil intended and that any evil attempts fall back on those intending the evil.
Lastly, when there is theft, it is crucial to understand that it is a sin against God. Whoever the thief is, they need to repent and turn to God. We will keep this in prayer as well.
It is good that our friend prays in Jesus' name. It is only through Jesus Christ that we have access to God. John 14:6 WEB, "Jesus said to him, I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me." It is only by calling on the name of Jesus Christ that we can be saved. Acts 4:12 WEB, "There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved!" It is also only by praying in Jesus' name that we are heard by God. John 16:23 WEB, "In that day you will ask me no questions. Most assuredly I tell you, whatever you may ask the Father in my name, he will give it to you." So, we encourage our friend to continue to pray in Jesus' name and if she does not have a personal relationship with Jesus Christ, to start one.
Following the example in Ecclesiastes 4:9-10 WEB, "Two are better than one, because they have a good reward for their labor. For if they fall, the one will lift up his fellow; but woe to him who is alone when he falls, and doesn't have another to lift him up." We encourage our friend to continue to seek godly Christian friends and fellowship that she may be lifted up in her times of need and have those who agree with her in prayer. We also encourage you to continue to pray for her with us.
