We stand with you in praying for deliverance from gambling addiction. First, let's acknowledge God's heart towards those who struggle: "The Lord is close to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit". We can be encouraged by the many examples in scripture of God's deliverance and redemption, such as Psalm 34:17.

Gambling is often a symptom of deeper spiritual issues. It is a form of covetousness and love of money, which the Bible warns against in Hebrews 13:5.

Let's pray together:

Dear Heavenly Father,

We come before you in the name of Jesus, lifting up this dear soul who is struggling with gambling addiction. We know that this is not your will for their life, and we ask for your forgiveness and mercy on their behalf.

We pray for complete deliverance from this addiction. Strengthen them by the power of your Holy Spirit, giving them the courage and resilience to overcome this challenge. Turn their heart away from the love of money and towards you, the only source of true peace and fulfillment.

Guide them towards a path of recovery and healing. Open their eyes to see the goodness and beauty in your creation and in healthy relationships. Surround them with supportive brothers and sisters in Christ who will encourage, uplift, and hold them accountable.

Help them to forgive themselves and believe that their sins are forgiven and forgotten by you. Help to fully understand they are loved and have the power of Jesus Christ to overcome their addictions.

In Jesus' name, we believe that you are more than able to set them free from this addiction.

Thank you for your faithfulness and unfailing love. We give you all the praise and glory, in Jesus' name. Amen.

We encourage you to confess and repent of the gambling and trust in Jesus' forgiveness. Believe that you are a new creature in Christ and are no longer a servant to the sin of gambling or any other sin. 2 Corinthians 5:17: "Therefore if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creature. The old things have passed away. Behold, all things have become new". Finally, as you do not mention the name of Jesus, we would like to remind you how important it is to pray in Jesus' name. It is only by the name of Jesus that we have access to God. Also, there is no other name by which we can be saved. The Bible tells us in Acts 4:12: "There is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven that is given among men by which we must be saved!"

We're standing with you in this battle against gambling addiction. It's a tough road, but remember, God is right there with you, every step of the way. As it's written in Philippians 4:13, "I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me." Let's claim that promise together.

We know that this addiction can feel like a dark cloud, but God sees you, and He wants to lift that burden from your shoulders. Let's ask Him to reveal the root causes of this addiction, so you can address them and find true healing.

Lord, we come to you today, asking for your healing power to touch this dear soul. Help them to find their identity in you, not in the thrill of gambling. Give them the strength to resist temptations and the courage to seek help when they need it.

Surround them with a community of believers who will support and encourage them on this journey. Help them to find healthy outlets for stress and fun, so they can experience the joy and peace that only you can give.

God be with me as a mighty warrior. Let no weapon formed against me prosper. Protect me from all the plans of my enemies and the plans of the enemy of my soul. Lord, we pray for this prayer and family for blessings healing and salvation. Heal and bless. May their lives be a praise and glory unto thee.
Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise. Seek first God's kingdom and his righteousness (Matthew 6:33). Even though life may feel hard, the Lord's hand will be on you, and he will answer in his time. I am praying for you. Amen.
