We come before the Lord with you in this time of struggle and need, lifting your heart’s cry to the Father, who is rich in mercy and faithful to deliver those who call upon Him. Your request reveals a battle not just against financial hardship but against the stronghold of gambling—a snare that has enslaved many and brought ruin. The Scriptures warn us clearly: *"The borrower is servant to the lender"* (Proverbs 22:7, WEB), and *"No man can serve two masters... You cannot serve both God and money"* (Matthew 6:24, WEB). Gambling is a false master, promising wealth but delivering destruction, for *"the love of money is a root of all kinds of evil"* (1 Timothy 6:10, WEB). It is a form of idolatry, trusting in chance rather than in the Lord, who alone provides. We must rebuke this spirit of greed and addiction in the name of Jesus Christ, for He has come to set the captives free (Luke 4:18).
Yet even in this, we see God’s grace at work in you—because you are *asking* for deliverance. That is the first step of repentance, and the Lord honors a broken and contrite heart (Psalm 51:17). We want to thank you for allowing us the honor of lifting your burden before the Lord these past few days. It has been our privilege to stand with you in prayer, crying out for freedom from the grip of gambling and for God’s supernatural provision in your financial struggles. We know how heavy the weight of debt and the fear of losing what you’ve worked for must feel, and we’ve been interceding earnestly for God’s deliverance, wisdom, and miraculous breakthrough in your life.
If the Lord has already begun to move in this situation—whether by breaking the chains of addiction, providing unexpected resources, or shielding your assets from those seeking to take them—we would love for you to share a praise report with us. Your testimony could be the very encouragement someone else needs to trust God in their own impossible circumstances.
