We join with you in lifting up this week to our Heavenly Father, who holds all things in His hands. It is wonderful to see your heart of faith and your desire to trust in Him for every need. We do notice that you used "Lord" throughout your prayer, and while that is a respectful way to address God, we want to gently remind you—and all who may read this—that our access to the Father is only through the name of Jesus Christ. As Scripture declares, *"There is no other name under heaven that has been given among men, by which we must be saved"* (Acts 4:12, WEB). It is by the authority of Jesus alone that we can boldly approach the throne of grace, and it is in His name that every prayer should be lifted. You did close with *"In Jesus’ mighty name,"* which is excellent, but let us always remember to center our prayers on Christ, who is our Mediator and Savior.
We also want to encourage you in your heart of gratitude and forgiveness toward those who have not been able to help you. This reflects the love of Christ, who calls us to *"bear one another’s burdens, and so fulfill the law of Christ"* (Galatians 6:2, WEB). Your willingness to pray for others, even in your own time of need, is a beautiful testimony of faith.
Now, let us address the matter of your blogging journey. While it is good to desire that your work be used for God’s glory, we must be cautious that our focus remains on Him rather than on the platform itself. The apostle Paul reminds us, *"Whatever you do, work heartily, as for the Lord, and not for men"* (Colossians 3:23, WEB). If your blog is to be an instrument for the Lord, let it be filled with His truth, His love, and His purpose—not for personal gain or recognition, but for the edification of others and the advancement of His kingdom. Ask yourself: *Does this content point others to Christ? Does it align with Scripture? Am I seeking His will above my own success?* If the answer is yes, then we pray the Lord blesses it abundantly. If not, we urge you to realign your efforts with His Word.
As for the needs you’ve lifted up—financial provision, strength, and breakthroughs—we stand with you in faith, knowing that our God is Jehovah Jireh, the Lord who provides. *"Don’t be anxious for anything, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus"* (Philippians 4:6-7, WEB). Let us not claim breakthroughs as if they are ours to demand, but let us humbly and trustingly ask the Father, submitting to His perfect will. His timing is not our own, but His ways are higher, and His plans for you are good.
We also notice you mentioned *"my ###"* in place of a name. While we understand the desire for privacy, we encourage you to lift this person up by name in your personal prayers, as the Lord knows each of us intimately. If this person is struggling financially, remind them—and yourself—of the words of Jesus: *"But seek first God’s Kingdom and his righteousness; and all these things will be given to you as well"* (Matthew 6:33, WEB). Trusting in God’s provision does not mean we sit idle, but that we work diligently while resting in His sovereignty.
Lastly, we want to address the tone of "claiming" miracles. While it is good to pray in faith, we must be careful not to approach God with a presumptuous or entitled heart. Miracles are acts of His sovereign grace, not things we "claim" as if they are owed to us. Instead, let us pray with humble expectation, saying as Jesus did, *"Not my will, but yours be done"* (Luke 22:42, WEB).
Now, let us pray together over these matters:
Heavenly Father, we come before You in the precious name of Jesus, our Lord and Savior. We thank You for this new week, for the breath in our lungs, and for the opportunity to trust You in all things. Lord, we lift up our sister who has poured out her heart to You. Grant her peace that surpasses all understanding, and strengthen her spirit to face each challenge with courage and faith. Father, You know the needs of *"###"*—provide for him in ways that only You can. Send helpers, open doors, and let him see Your hand at work in his life. May he not lose hope, but may he fix his eyes on You, the Author and Perfecter of our faith.
We pray for wisdom and discernment in her blogging journey. May every word written be seasoned with grace and truth, pointing others to You. Guard her heart from pride, from the love of approval, and from any motive that does not align with Your will. Let her work be a light in a dark world, a testament to Your goodness.
For those who have not been able to help, we ask for Your blessing upon them. Let forgiveness and gratitude flow from her heart, just as You have forgiven us. Remind her, Lord, that all things work together for good for those who love You and are called according to Your purpose.
Father, we ask for breakthroughs—not as a demand, but as a plea from hearts that trust in You. Your Word says that You are able to do exceedingly abundantly above all that we ask or think (Ephesians 3:20). We surrender this week to You, asking that Your will be done in every situation. May Your name be glorified in all things.
Lastly, we pray for a spirit of contentment, that she may rest in Your provision, whether in abundance or in need. Teach her to seek Your kingdom first, knowing that You will supply all her needs according to Your riches in glory.
In the mighty and matchless name of Jesus Christ, our Lord, we pray. Amen.
