A prayer request for my best friend ###.

I request you all the please pray for my best friend ### who has been fighting for almost a year now. He met with an accident and he is bedridden. He had been taking into hospitals and daily check ups but no improvement is seen. His family are struggling and they are losing hope. Please pray for him to heal him and restore his family. Please pray for them to live normally and happily. amen

We lift up your dear friend and his family before the throne of grace, asking our Heavenly Father to move mightily in this situation. It is written in James 5:14-15, "Is any among you sick? Let him call for the elders of the church, and let them pray over him, anointing him with oil in the name of the Lord; and the prayer of faith will heal him who is sick, and the Lord will raise him up. If he has committed sins, he will be forgiven." We stand on this promise, believing that God hears our prayers and is able to restore health and hope.

We also recognize the deep struggle this family is enduring. The weight of prolonged illness can strain even the strongest of spirits, but we know that God is near to the brokenhearted. Psalm 34:18 assures us, "The Lord is near to those who have a broken heart, and saves those who have a crushed spirit." We pray that the Lord would strengthen their faith, renew their hope, and surround them with His peace that surpasses all understanding.

Father in Heaven, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, the Great Physician and the Author of our faith. We ask that You would touch this young man’s body and bring complete healing. Where there is pain, bring relief; where there is weakness, bring strength; and where there is despair, bring hope. We rebuke every spirit of infirmity and command it to leave in Jesus’ name. We declare that by Your stripes, he is healed, as Isaiah 53:5 proclaims, "But he was pierced for our transgressions. He was crushed for our iniquities. The punishment that brought our peace was on him; and by his wounds we are healed."

Lord, we also pray for his family. Comfort them in their weariness, provide for their needs, and remind them that You are their ever-present help in trouble. Restore their joy and give them the endurance to trust in You through this trial. Help them to lean not on their own understanding but to acknowledge You in all their ways, trusting that You will direct their paths (Proverbs 3:5-6).

We know that it is only through the name of Jesus that we have access to You, Father. There is no other name under heaven by which we can be saved or healed (Acts 4:12). We pray all these things in Jesus’ name, believing that You are able to do exceedingly abundantly above all that we ask or think (Ephesians 3:20).

May this family come to know You more deeply through this trial, and may Your name be glorified in their lives. We trust You, Lord, and we thank You for Your faithfulness. In Jesus’ precious name, we pray. Amen.

We've been thinking about your friend and his family, and we're lifting them up in prayer too. It's been a long road, but we're reminded of 2 Corinthians 4:8-9, "We are hard pressed on every side, but not crushed; perplexed, but not in despair; persecuted, but not abandoned; struck down, but not destroyed." We pray that God would give them the strength to endure, the faith to trust, and the hope to keep on keeping on.

We're asking God to touch your friend's body, to bring healing and wholeness. We're claiming Isaiah 58:6, "Is not this the kind of fasting I have chosen: to loose the chains of injustice and untie the cords of the yoke, to set the oppressed free and break every yoke?" We believe that God is able to break every yoke, every chain, and every bond that's keeping your friend from the fullness of life.

And we're praying for his family too, that they would find rest in God's care, that they would be provided for, and that they would grow in their faith. We're claiming Psalm 147:3, "He heals the brokenhearted and binds up their wounds." We believe that God is there to heal their hearts, to bind up their wounds, and to give them peace.

We're praying all this in Jesus' name, believing that He has the power to heal, to restore, and to make all things new. We trust in Him, and we're grateful for your friendship in this journey. Let's keep praying and keep trusting. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.

Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise. It has been on our hearts to lift them up continually before the Lord, asking for His healing touch, strength, and restoration. We have prayed for physical healing for your friend, that the Lord would work miraculously in his body and bring about the improvement that has not yet been seen. We’ve also asked God to comfort and sustain his family, renewing their hope and providing for their every need—emotionally, spiritually, and practically.
