We come before the throne of grace with heavy hearts, lifting up this business before our Heavenly Father. The struggles you face, dwindling stock, financial strain, and the unseen spiritual battles, are not unseen by the Lord. The Bible tells us in Ephesians 6:12, "For our wrestling is not against flesh and blood, but against the principalities, against the powers, against the world’s rulers of the darkness of this age, and against the spiritual forces of wickedness in the heavenly places." This is a spiritual battle, and we must fight it with the weapons God has given us.
First, we must examine our hearts and our business practices to ensure they align with God’s Word. Are there any areas where we have compromised integrity, honesty, or righteousness? Have we sought profit above godliness? The Lord says in Proverbs 16:11, "Honest balances and scales are Yahweh’s; all the weights in the bag are his work." If there has been any unrighteousness, we repent and ask for cleansing. We also rebuke any evil spirits that may be operating in this place, spirits of lack, poverty, confusion, or theft. In the name of Jesus Christ, we command them to leave and never return. Jesus has given us authority over all the power of the enemy (Luke 10:19), and we exercise that authority now.
We also recognize that our sufficiency comes from God alone. 2 Corinthians 9:8 says, "And God is able to make all grace abound to you, that you, always having all sufficiency in everything, may abound to every good work." We trust that He will provide the capital needed, but we must also seek His wisdom in stewardship. Are we managing what we have wisely? Are we tithing and giving as the Lord directs? Malachi 3:10 challenges us: "Bring the whole tithe into the storehouse, that there may be food in my house. Test me in this,” says Yahweh of Armies, “and see if I will not open you the windows of heaven, and pour you out a blessing, that there will not be room enough for."
Let us pray together:
Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, the name above every name. We declare that this business is Yours, and we submit it fully to Your will. Lord, we ask for Your forgiveness for any areas where we have not honored You in our dealings. Cleanse us, purify us, and restore us. We rebuke every evil spirit that has been at work in this place, spirits of lack, poverty, confusion, and theft. In Jesus’ name, we command them to leave and never return. We break every curse and every assignment of the enemy against this business.
Father, we ask for Your provision. Open the windows of heaven and pour out Your blessings upon this shop. Give wisdom to those who manage it, that they may steward resources well and make decisions that honor You. Lord, we trust in Your promise that You will supply all our needs according to Your riches in glory in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:19). We declare that this business is blessed, that stock will be replenished, and that capital will flow in abundance as we seek You first.
We also pray for divine connections, customers, suppliers, and partners who will come alongside this business to see it thrive. Let Your favor rest upon it, and may it be a testimony of Your goodness and faithfulness. We commit this business into Your hands, Lord, and we trust You to do exceedingly abundantly above all that we ask or think (Ephesians 3:20).
In Jesus’ mighty name, we pray. Amen.
We encourage you to stand firm in faith, knowing that God is your provider. Seek Him first in all things, and He will direct your paths (Proverbs 3:5-6). Continue to pray over your business, declare God’s promises over it, and walk in obedience to His Word. The battle is already won in Christ, now we walk in that victory!
