Prayer for my business and my relationship

Hello, please help me pray for my business praying and hoping that their will be a lot of costumers to come. And please pray for my relationship with my bf. For now I don't know I just surrender my love story to God. And asking for a sign.

We come before the Lord with hearts full of faith and surrender, lifting up your business and your desire for guidance in your courtship. First, we rejoice in your willingness to bring these matters before God, for He delights in the prayers of His children. However, we must address a few things with love and truth, as Scripture commands us to speak the truth in love (Ephesians 4:15).

Your business is a good and godly endeavor, and we believe the Lord desires to bless the work of your hands. The Word tells us, "Commit your works to the Lord, and your plans shall be established" (Proverbs 16:3 WEB). We pray that God would open doors of opportunity, bring faithful customers, and grant you wisdom in all your dealings. May He provide for every need according to His riches in glory (Philippians 4:19) and give you favor with those you serve. Lord, we ask that You would guide every decision, protect this business from harm, and use it for Your glory.

Now, regarding your courtship, we must speak plainly. The Bible is clear that marriage is a sacred covenant between one man and one woman, and any romantic relationship outside of this design is not honoring to God. If you and your boyfriend are not married, we must rebuke the sin of fornication, sexual intimacy outside of marriage, which Scripture condemns (1 Corinthians 6:18, Hebrews 13:4). If you are living together or engaging in sexual relations, we urge you to repent and seek holiness, for God calls us to flee from sexual immorality. If you are not yet married, we encourage you to either pursue marriage with a godly man who shares your faith or, if that is not possible, to end the relationship in a way that honors the Lord.

We also note that you did not mention the name of Jesus in your request. There is no other name by which we can approach God or be saved (Acts 4:12). Salvation comes only through faith in Jesus Christ, who died for our sins and rose again (Romans 10:9-10). If you have not surrendered your life to Him, we urge you to do so today. Without Christ, we are separated from God, but through Him, we have access to the Father (Ephesians 2:18).

Now, we pray for your courtship, that if this man is not the one God has for you, He would make it clear. If he is, we pray that you would both seek the Lord wholeheartedly, grow in faith together, and pursue marriage with purity and godly intention. "Delight yourself also in the Lord, and He will give you the desires of your heart" (Psalm 37:4 WEB). Lord, we ask that You would give her a clear sign, either confirmation to move forward in a way that honors You or the wisdom to walk away if this relationship does not align with Your will. May she seek first Your kingdom and Your righteousness (Matthew 6:33), trusting that You will direct her path.

We also pray for your heart as you surrender your love story to God. May you find peace in His sovereignty, knowing that He works all things together for good for those who love Him (Romans 8:28). If this man is not your future husband, we pray that God would heal any disappointment and lead you to the one He has prepared for you, a man who loves the Lord above all else and will cherish you as Christ cherishes the Church (Ephesians 5:25).

Father, we ask that You would fill her with Your Holy Spirit, giving her discernment, patience, and unwavering faith. May she not lean on her own understanding but trust in You with all her heart (Proverbs 3:5-6). Strengthen her in times of uncertainty, and let Your Word be a lamp to her feet (Psalm 119:105). We declare that no weapon formed against her shall prosper (Isaiah 54:17) and that You will fulfill every good purpose in her life.

You have given it all to Him, the business that keeps your hands busy and your heart anxious, and the love that you no longer dare to hold with clenched fists. You have spread your hands open and said, “I surrender my love story to God,” and now you are watching, waiting for a sign. I understand that. The child within us longs for some small token that the Father has heard, some little note pushed under the door of our darkness to tell us all is well. And yet, perhaps, the sign you seek is already in your own heart: the very willingness to let go is itself the finger of God, touching the helm and turning the whole vessel toward Himself.

Think of your business for a moment. You pray for customers, for a stream of provision to come through your door. That is no small thing, for our daily bread is a mercy that ought never to grow common in our eyes. But remember: the Lord who calls the stars by name and knows the resting places of every departed saint, the mariner lost at sea, the soldier fallen in an unmarked field, that same God has numbered the hairs of your head and the days of your life. Your little shop, your trade, your daily toil are all before Him. He does not despise your anxious prayers, any more than the Bridegroom of the Song rejected the honeycomb because it came with wax. He takes your imperfect faith, your trembling hopes, and He receives them as a sweet offering, made acceptable in Christ.

And as to your love story, you have done right to place it in His hands. The Lord who calls you now by your natural name, the one that speaks of your weakness, and then by that higher name that speaks of your wrestling and your prevailing, He knows every secret desire you carry. He does not need you to decipher signs as though He were a distant deity who must be coaxed into communicating. His word is a message sent directly to you. Open it. Let its pages speak. There you will find less a signpost and more a Person, Christ Himself, who loved you and gave Himself for you. The punishment of your iniquity is accomplished; there is no more captivity for you. You are not adrift on a dark sea, straining for a lighthouse. Your Lord has His hand on the helm of your heart, and He is directing you into the love of God. That is a better thing than a thousand signs.

Settle your soul on that. You are loved with an everlasting love, and underneath are the everlasting arms. Let those arms carry your business worries and your affections alike. He will not fail you.

Lord, you see this dear soul who has opened both hands to you. Calm the watching eye and quiet the restless heart. Provide for every honest need in that business, and in the tender matter of love, grant a deep and steady trust. Direct this heart into your own love, and let that be the only sign it needs, until the day breaks and all shadows flee away. For Jesus’ sake. Amen.

You ask for a sign concerning the path of your love, yet Christ Himself rebuked those who clamored for signs, calling them an evil and adulterous generation. The only sign given them was the sign of the prophet Jonah, the death and resurrection of the Lord. Have you not already received the greatest of all signs, the Son of God risen from the tomb for your salvation? To demand yet another token from heaven is to reveal a heart that does not fully trust. When you have surrendered your story to God, do not then snatch it back by seeking proofs. True faith waits without signs, knowing that the One who governs all things ordains every step for those who love Him.

As for your business, pray indeed that God grant increase, but do not make custom a condition of your devotion. Remember that we are to seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things will be added. He who clothes the lilies and feeds the sparrows knows your needs before you ask. Work diligently, deal honestly, and let your hope rest not in crowded stalls but in the Provider. There is no need to read the face of the sky for omens; the same Lord who sends rain upon the just and the unjust can also send or withhold trade as He sees fit for your soul’s good.

Concerning your relationship with your boyfriend, I say this: surrender is excellent, but be careful that your surrender is not an idle escape from responsibility. A woman who neglects to examine her own conduct and instead casts about for signs is like one who meddles in matters not her own. Let your care be to please God within that bond. Conduct yourself with modesty, faithfulness, and a quiet spirit, and do not expect the heavens to spell out what a pure conscience already knows. If you truly give it to God, then leave it there, and occupy yourself with prayer and virtuous labor, not with waiting for a peculiar wonder.

The sign of circumcision was given because men were weak; but you are called to the circumcision of the heart, a faith that works through love. Cease from demanding new signs, and cling to the one sign already granted: Christ crucified and risen. In that you have assurance enough for this life and the next.
