A Prayer for ###

Disciple of Prayer
Heavenly Father, I bring my ### to You. Please wrap him in Your peace when anger and big emotions overwhelm him. Help him to feel safe, understood, and loved. Soften his heart and teach him how to express his frustrations in healthy, peaceful ways rather than letting his anger control him. Clear his mind of confusion and heal whatever hurt or stress might be hiding beneath his outbursts. Lord, I also ask for Your grace over me. Grant me the patience and wisdom to respond to his meltdowns with a calm spirit and a gentle voice. Help me to be slow to anger and quick to listen to what he truly needs. Give me the discernment to see past his behavior and understand his heart, that I might be the steady, loving guide and protector he needs right now. In Jesus name. Proverbs 14:29: "Whoever is slow to anger has great understanding, but he who has a hasty temper exalts folly. James 1:19: My dear brothers and sisters, take note of this: Everyone should be quick to listen, slow to speak and slow to become angry. Psalm 37:8: Refrain from anger and turn from wrath; do not fret—it leads only to evil.

We come before the throne of grace with this heartfelt plea, lifting up this individual and their struggles with anger and overwhelming emotions. Father God, we acknowledge that anger in itself is not sinful, but the way it is handled can lead to sin and destruction. Your Word tells us in Ephesians 4:26-27, "Be angry, and don’t sin. Don’t let the sun go down on your wrath, and don’t give place to the devil." We pray that You would help this dear one to channel their emotions in a way that honors You and brings peace rather than chaos.

Lord, we ask that You would soften their heart and reveal the root of their anger. Often, beneath the surface of outbursts lies hurt, confusion, or unmet needs. Psalm 34:18 reminds us, "The Lord is near to those who have a broken heart, and saves those who have a crushed spirit." We pray that You would draw near to them, heal their wounds, and replace their turmoil with Your perfect peace. Help them to cast their cares upon You, for You care for them (1 Peter 5:7).

We also lift up the one who is supporting this individual. Father, grant them an abundance of patience, wisdom, and discernment. Proverbs 15:1 says, "A gentle answer turns away wrath, but a harsh word stirs up anger." May they be a vessel of Your love and grace, responding with gentleness even in the face of frustration. Teach them to listen with empathy and to speak words that build up rather than tear down (Ephesians 4:29). Strengthen them to be a steady and loving guide, reflecting Your character in every interaction.

Lord, we rebuke the spirit of anger and confusion that seeks to control this situation. We declare that in the name of Jesus, this individual will not be mastered by their emotions but will walk in the fruit of the Spirit, which is love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, and self-control (Galatians 5:22-23). We pray that they would surrender their struggles to You daily, trusting in Your power to transform their heart and mind.

We also want to gently remind both individuals of the importance of seeking You first in all things. Jesus said in Matthew 11:28, "Come to me, all you who labor and are heavily burdened, and I will give you rest." It is only through a personal relationship with Jesus Christ that true peace and healing can be found. If this individual has not yet placed their faith in Him, we pray that they would come to know Him as their Lord and Savior. For "if you will confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved" (Romans 10:9).

Heavenly Father, we thank You for Your faithfulness and for the promise that You are working all things together for good for those who love You (Romans 8:28). We trust that You are at work in this situation, bringing healing, restoration, and growth. May Your will be done in their lives, and may Your name be glorified through their journey. In the mighty name of Jesus, we pray. Amen.

We're here with you, friend, lifting up your loved one in prayer. We know anger can be overwhelming, but remember, God is always near, always ready to help. In Ephesians 4:26, we're told, "Be angry but do not sin." Let's pray for your loved one to find healthy ways to express their anger, to understand its root, and to find peace in Christ.

Lord, we ask that You would soften their heart. Help them to understand the root of their anger. Maybe it's hurt, confusion, or unmet needs. We pray that You would heal their wounds and replace their turmoil with Your peace. Help them to cast their cares upon You, for You care for them (1 Peter 5:7).

We also pray for you, dear one, as you support them. May you have an abundance of patience, wisdom, and discernment. Be a vessel of God's love and grace, responding with gentleness even in the face of frustration. Listen with empathy and speak words that build up, not tear down (Ephesians 4:29).

Let's trust in God's faithfulness. He's working all things together for good for those who love Him (Romans 8:28). In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.

Lord, we pray for this prayer and family for blessings healing and salvation. Heal and bless. May their lives be a praise and glory unto thee.
Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise. Seek first God's kingdom and his righteousness (Matthew 6:33). Even though life may feel hard, the Lord's hand will be on you, and he will answer in his time. I am praying for you. Amen.

Heal Me Lord Jesus Spirit, Soul, And Body

We are deeply grateful that you entrusted us with the privilege of standing in prayer with you for your loved one. It has been on our hearts to continue lifting him before the Lord, asking our Heavenly Father to wrap him in His peace when emotions feel too big to handle. We’ve prayed for his heart to soften, for clarity to replace confusion, and for healing in any hidden hurts that may be fueling his struggles. We’ve also asked God to strengthen you with patience, wisdom, and a calm spirit, that you might respond to his needs with gentleness and discernment—seeing not just the behavior, but the heart beneath it.

If the Lord has moved in answer to these prayers, we would love to rejoice with you! Please share a praise report so we can celebrate His faithfulness together. If the journey still feels heavy and the answers aren’t yet clear, we invite you to post this request again. We are committed to walking alongside you in prayer, trusting that God is at work even when we can’t yet see it.

May the Lord continue to draw near to you both, filling you with His peace and guiding you with His wisdom. We pray this in the powerful and precious name of Jesus.

My son is a good boy but got involved with the wrong crowd and is now in trouble. I ask that y'all help me pray over him. That he is given guidance, patience, understanding, and release. Lord works in mysterious ways and I know he had this happen to slow him down and reflect on his life.
