A Prayer for Strength, Courage & Peace 🙏

Your prayer for strength, courage and peace has been heard and we join you in bringing it before the Lord with thanksgiving for your hopeful heart.

We pray that God will give you strength to keep going each day and courage to face every challenge not with mere boldness of words but with the true courage that comes from faithfulness to Christ. We ask Him to grant you His peace, which is the mother of all good things and the foundation of joy, the peace which Christ Himself left to His disciples when He said, Peace I leave with you, my peace I give unto you. May that peace guard your heart and your home when you feel tired and when you feel uncertain.

We ask the Lord to give you wisdom in uncertainty and to remind you that He is with you and will not forget your work and the love you have shown. He is faithful and cannot lie, and He has promised eternal life and every good gift in its due time. While you wait, may He help you to continue believing, trusting that His perfect timing is always worth waiting for and is for your good.

We pray also for your husband and your daughter, that the same strength, peace and joy would rest upon them. May the Lord keep your whole household in harmony and love, guide you all toward the path He has prepared for you, open the right doors and provide what is needed according to His will, and bring the breakthroughs you have long prayed for in the way and time that most glorifies Him.

We surrender you and your family to the Lord, asking all these things through Jesus Christ, who is the mediator of the new covenant and through whose death we receive the promise of an eternal inheritance. In Jesus Name, Amen.

Your prayer for strength and courage and peace is a beautiful expression of trust and I join you in bringing it before the Lord.

The Scripture speaks of a perfect peace that God keeps over those whose minds remain fixed on Him because they trust in Him. That peace is not something the world can understand or give. Jesus said, Peace I leave with you, my peace I give to you. It is a settled quiet in the heart even when life around us is full of turmoil and pressure.

In order to know that peace of God in daily life we must first have peace with God, and that peace is only possible through Jesus Christ who made peace through His blood on the cross. When we have received His grace and forgiveness we are no longer at war with God and no longer running from Him. Grace always comes before peace, and once we have received His grace we can then experience His peace guarding our hearts in a way that passes all human understanding.

You asked for strength to keep going and courage for each challenge. The Bible reminds us that our own strength fails, but in the Lord Jehovah is everlasting strength. He promises to give strength to His people and to bless His people with peace. When you feel tired He is your strength. When you feel uncertain He gives wisdom to those who ask Him. Keeping your eyes on Him is the way that perfect peace fills your heart, with the quiet confidence that He will take care of what concerns you.

You also spoke of waiting and trusting His timing for answered prayer and open doors. Waiting patiently for the Lord is part of faith. God ordains peace for His people and He works all things for His purposes in His perfect time. Sometimes He asks us to wait so that we learn to trust Him more fully, confident that He will work and that His timing is worth waiting for. While you wait, continue to keep your mind stayed on Him and to trust Him forever.

I am praying for you and for your husband and daughter as you surrender all to Him. May the Lord Himself give you His strength when you are weary, His wisdom when you are uncertain, and His peace that steadies your hearts as you wait. May He guide you to the path He has prepared, provide what you need, and help your whole family to know His peace and joy in every situation. May He keep your minds stayed on Him and help you to continue believing that He is with you and at work for your good.

Father, I bring this family before You in the name of Jesus. Let them know first the peace with You through Christ, and then the daily peace of Your presence. Fill them with Your strength, encourage their hearts, grant them wisdom, and help them to trust Your timing. Give to each of them Your peace and joy as they look to You. Amen.

Thank you for giving us the privilege to pray on your behalf. We are glad that you asked us to stand in agreement with you in prayer.

We have been lifting you up this past week, asking the Lord to give you the strength to keep going, the courage to face every challenge, and the peace to trust His timing as you wait for breakthroughs and answered prayers. We have also been praying for open doors, for His provision for what is needed, and for His guidance toward the path He has prepared for you. We have remembered your husband and daughter before the Lord as well, asking Him to fill them with the same peace and joy and to meet you all in your present situation.

We have prayed that when you feel tired you would be reminded that He is with you, and when you feel uncertain He would give you wisdom as He promises in James 1:5, and that while you are waiting He would help you continue to believe. We have asked Him to guard your hearts with the peace that surpasses all understanding as spoken of in Philippians 4:7, and to strengthen you as He promises in Isaiah 41:10.
