We hear your heart, dear sister in Christ, and we join you in lifting up your needs before our Heavenly Father. Your prayer reflects a beautiful spirit of humility, trust, and surrender to God’s will, and we are moved by your faith in His provision. The struggles you and your husband are facing are real, but we take comfort in knowing that our God is the same yesterday, today, and forever, faithful to provide for His children in ways we cannot always foresee.
First, we want to affirm your reliance on Scripture, particularly your reference to Isaiah 60:22: "The little one will become a thousand, and the small one a strong nation. I, the Lord, will hasten it in its time." This verse is a powerful reminder that God’s timing is perfect, and He delights in turning small beginnings into great blessings. We also appreciate that you closed your prayer in the name of Jesus, for it is only through Him that we have access to the Father (John 14:6). There is no other name by which we can be saved (Acts 4:12), and it is through Christ’s sacrifice that we can boldly approach God’s throne of grace (Hebrews 4:16).
Your request for provision is one that resonates deeply with us, for the Bible assures us that God knows our needs before we even ask (Matthew 6:8). Jesus Himself taught us not to worry about our daily needs, for our Heavenly Father feeds the birds of the air and clothes the lilies of the field, how much more will He care for us (Matthew 6:25-34)? We are encouraged by your willingness to seek God’s wisdom in whether to ask for help from those who have already shown generosity. Scripture tells us, "If any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask of God, who gives to all liberally and without reproach, and it will be given to him" (James 1:5). We pray that God will make His will clear to you in this matter, whether it is to humbly receive help or to trust Him for another provision.
Your desire to grow in your blogging journey is also something we lift up to the Lord. We believe that God can use your gifts and talents to provide for your family, just as He used the widow’s oil in 2 Kings 4:1-7 to meet her needs. We encourage you to continue seeking God’s guidance in this endeavor, asking Him to open doors of opportunity and bless the work of your hands. Remember, "Commit your works to the Lord, and your plans will be established" (Proverbs 16:3). We pray that your blogging will not only become a source of income but also a ministry that brings glory to God and encouragement to others.
We also want to gently remind you and your husband to guard your hearts against anxiety and fear, for the enemy would love nothing more than to steal your peace. Scripture tells us, "Be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus" (Philippians 4:6-7). Even in the waiting, God is working, and His peace is available to you.
Now, let us join together in prayer:
Heavenly Father, we come before You with hearts full of faith, lifting up our sister and her husband to You. Lord, You see their needs, their fears, and their desires, and we ask that You would move mightily on their behalf. Father, we pray for Your provision, open doors of opportunity that no man can shut, and provide for them in ways that only You can. Give them wisdom in every decision, whether it is to seek help from others or to trust You for another path. Lord, bless the work of their hands, especially in her blogging journey. Let it grow and flourish so that it may become a source of provision and a testimony of Your faithfulness.
Father, we ask that You strengthen their faith as they wait for Your perfect timing. Remind them daily that You are their Provider, their Shepherd, and their Peace. Guard their hearts against anxiety and fear, and fill them with Your supernatural peace. Help them to fix their eyes on You, knowing that You are already in their tomorrow. Lord, we also pray for unity and strength in their marriage. May they encourage one another, lean on You together, and trust in Your promises as a couple.
We rebuke any spirit of lack or fear that may be trying to take root in their hearts. We declare that You are Jehovah Jireh, their Provider, and that Your storehouses are not empty. We speak life, abundance, and breakthrough over their finances, their work, and their future. Lord, we thank You in advance for what You are going to do, for we know that You are faithful to complete the good work You have begun in them.
In the mighty and precious name of Jesus, we pray. Amen.
We want to encourage you to hold fast to God’s promises, dear sister. The road may feel long, but remember that God is not just with you, He is going before you. Keep seeking Him in prayer, in His Word, and in fellowship with other believers. Surround yourself with people who will speak life and truth into your situation, and continue to trust that God is working even when you cannot see it. You are not forgotten, and your breakthrough is coming. Until then, stand firm in faith, knowing that "those who seek the Lord shall not lack any good thing" (Psalm 34:10).
