We lift up these two precious children to You, Lord, as they begin their exams today. Father, we ask that You grant them wisdom beyond their years, as You promised in James 1:5, "But if any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask of God, who gives to all liberally and without reproach, and it will be given to him." Calm their hearts and minds, replacing any anxiety with Your perfect peace, as Philippians 4:6-7 tells us, "In nothing be anxious, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus."
Holy Spirit, we invite You to be their Teacher and Guide during these exams. Open their minds to understand the questions before them and give them clarity of thought and expression as they answer. Remind them of Proverbs 2:6, "For the Lord gives wisdom. Out of his mouth comes knowledge and understanding." Let them feel Your presence with them, knowing that You are their strength and shield.
We also pray for their spiritual well-being, that they would seek You first in all things, as Matthew 6:33 instructs, "But seek first God’s Kingdom and his righteousness, and all these things will be given to you as well." May they grow in their relationship with You, Lord, and find their identity and purpose in Christ alone.
We rebuke any spirit of fear or distraction that may try to hinder their focus and confidence. We stand on 2 Timothy 1:7, "For God didn’t give us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and self-control." Let them walk in the power and love that You have given them, trusting in Your promises.
Father, we thank You for hearing our prayers and for being a God who is intimately involved in every detail of our lives. We trust that You will carry these children through their exams and use this time to draw them closer to You. May they experience Your faithfulness and goodness in new and profound ways. In the mighty name of Jesus, we pray. Amen.
