We come before the throne of grace with heavy hearts, lifting up your sister in prayer as she faces this medical procedure. The Word of God reminds us in James 5:14-15, "Is any among you sick? Let him call for the elders of the assembly, and let them pray over him, anointing him with oil in the name of the Lord; and the prayer of faith will heal the sick, and the Lord will raise him up. If he has committed sins, he will be forgiven." We stand in faith, believing that the Lord hears our prayers and is able to bring healing and restoration to her body.

Father God, we ask You to guide the hands of the medical professionals attending to her. Grant them wisdom, skill, and discernment as they care for her. We pray for Your healing touch to be upon her, that You would restore her strength, ease her pain, and bring complete healing to every part of her body affected by this illness. Lord, we know that You are the Great Physician, and nothing is too difficult for You. We trust in Your mercy and grace to sustain her through this time.

We also lift up her spirit, Lord. May she feel Your peace that surpasses all understanding guarding her heart and mind in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:7). Remind her that You are with her, even in the valley of the shadow of death, and that she need not fear any evil (Psalm 23:4). Strengthen her faith and fill her with hope as she places her trust in You.

If there are any areas in her life where she needs to seek forgiveness or extend forgiveness, we pray that You would bring those to light and grant her the grace to walk in repentance and reconciliation. Your Word tells us in 1 John 1:9, "If we confess our sins, he is faithful and righteous to forgive us the sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness."

We also pray for her family during this time. Give them strength, patience, and unity as they support her. May they lean on You and one another, finding comfort in Your promises.

Lord, we declare Your healing power over her life. We speak life, health, and wholeness in the name of Jesus, for by His stripes we are healed (Isaiah 53:5). We thank You for hearing our prayer and for the victory that is already hers in Christ. In Jesus' mighty name, we pray. Amen.

We are holding you and your sister close in our hearts as she faces this surgery. It’s completely understandable to carry extra weight after a difficult experience with a prior one, those memories can stir a lot of anxiety, and we’re sorry you’re both walking through that. So we’re joining you in bringing her before the Lord, trusting His nearness in the operating room and in every waiting moment.

While you wait, it can help to have a simple, concrete way to steady your mind. You might pick a short phrase of trust to pray silently whenever fear rises, something like, “Jesus, You are with her,” or a line from a hymn that anchors you. Often, our confidence isn’t in our own feelings but in His faithful character, and repeating that truth can quiet our hearts.

We’re also grateful you let us stand with you, it’s a tangible reminder that none of us carries these burdens alone.

Jesus, we lift up this dear sister to You right now. Calm any fear in her or her family. Guide the surgeons’ hands, give wisdom to every medical decision, and let her body respond well. Because of the past complication, we ask especially for Your covering over every detail, for healing without setback. Surround her with Your peace that passes understanding, and give her loved ones strength and steady hope. We entrust her entirely to Your capable hands, in the name of Jesus. Amen.

The prayer that staggers from the brink of the grave is a prayer that reaches the ear of the Most High. When words seem to reel and the mind is at its wit's end, even then the Lord bends low to hear. Take courage, for the Good Physician’s power is not diminished by the length of the trial nor by the feebleness of the plea. It is written that they were a long while before they prayed, but He was not a long while before He answered.

Your sister’s cry, rising now from a place of past wounding and present fear, is not lost in the clamor of the world. The Lord is willing to strengthen her, and He will do it effectually in answer to the supplications of His people. The healing power of Christ was conspicuously present when He was teaching, and it is still tethered to the Word and to prayer. Let the church pray, for we have prayed, and He has inclined His ear.

The very leaves of that Tree which is Christ are for the healing of the nations; even the least things about Him drip with restorative virtue. Let her look to Calvary, where pardon and healing are placed in happy conjunction. The hand that forgives is the hand that restores. Do not marvel if recovery is slow; each small increase of strength is a new claim on her affection, and each answered sigh is a note of praise that shall yet be sung in the congregation.

Press the suit with all the arguments of His own promise, He cannot deny Himself. For our sister, peace. For you, an unshaken expectation that He who hears the broken heart will bind it up, whether by sudden deliverance or slow renewal. The outcome is His, but the petition is yours, and it is mighty through God.

May God in Jesus' name answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. God is so in love with you. Be Encouraged!

Psalm 37:4: Delight yourself in the Lord, And He shall give you the desires of your heart.
Matthew 6:33: But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you.

Heal Me Lord Jesus Spirit, Soul, And Body

Do not let the fear of the knife surpass the hope of the cure. That house of healing you prepare to enter is a spiritual surgery, and the wounds received in the body there may become the remedy for the soul. Pray, then, that the hands of the physicians be guided, not merely for the healing of flesh, but that this affliction might clear the eye of the soul from any cloud of wicked desire. Pray for your sister that she bear this burden thankfully, for if we bear losses and pains with thanksgiving, we shall either recover those things, or our reward will be greater for having wrestled nobly.

The gifts of healing are indeed a mercy, yet know that power is greater than the healing itself. One may be cured and remain inwardly sick, but to be held fast by the power of God through trial, this brings forth the fruit of eternal life. Therefore, pour out your supplication not chiefly for a swift release from the body's distress, but that she may obtain that unfailing love which renders even martyrdom profitable. Let your prayer be that whether the outcome is recovery or a longer struggle, she may show forth the fruit of patient endurance, for it is impossible that such eager desire and love of God should fail of its effect.

We are lifting your sister up to the Lord right now, standing with you in prayer as she faces this procedure. It weighs heavy to watch someone you love walk through a medical trial, especially when she is already carrying the effects of an earlier one. Take heart that Jesus is not distant from her suffering. The Scriptures tell us He Himself bore our infirmities and carried our sicknesses, His compassion reaches into that hospital room and into her body.

I don’t pretend to understand why some healings come instantly and others unfold slowly, or why some prayers seem to be answered differently than we long for. What I do know is that every process of restoration, whether it arrives through the skill of doctors or in a quiet, gradual mending, is still a work of God’s hand. He designed the human body with remarkable resilience, and His common grace often flows through the very treatments she is receiving. We can pray with confidence for His healing power to be released, while also trusting Him for the outcome, whatever it may be.

Remember the woman who touched the hem of Jesus’ garment. In that moment, her faith became a point of contact for His power, and she felt healing flow into her body. I pray your sister experiences that same touch in her spirit, a deep sense of peace that steadies her mind and eases her fears, even as her body undergoes the procedure. Sometimes the most profound healing begins inwardly, calming the scars and anxieties that accompany physical trials.

We will continue to pray that God guides the hands of the medical team, that the procedure goes smoothly, and that her recovery is marked by steady, divine progress. May you and your family sense the sustaining presence of Christ, who Himself knows our frailty and ever lives to intercede for us.

We want to thank you for the trust you placed in us to lift your sister before the Lord in prayer. It has been our privilege to stand in agreement with you, asking our Heavenly Father to guide the hands of those caring for her, to bring comfort to her heart, and to grant wisdom and peace to your entire family during this time. We have prayed specifically for healing from her earlier condition, for strength and skill for her medical team, and for God’s perfect will to be done in every detail.

If the Lord has already moved in a powerful way—whether through a successful procedure, restored health, or an overwhelming sense of His presence—we would be so encouraged to hear your praise report. Please share how God has answered so that we may rejoice with you.

If, however, the situation remains uncertain or the outcome has not been what you hoped, we invite you to post your request again. We are committed to continuing in prayer with you, lifting your sister and your family before the throne of grace. Do not lose heart, for the Lord hears the cries of His children, and His timing is always perfect.

May God bless you with His peace that surpasses all understanding as you continue to seek Him through His Son, Jesus Christ. We pray all these things in Jesus’ Name.
