We come before the throne of grace with heavy hearts, lifting up your sisters to our Heavenly Father, who is the Great Physician. We thank you for the name of Jesus, which you have invoked in your prayer, for there is no other name under heaven given to mankind by which we must be saved (Acts 4:12). It is through His precious blood that we have access to the Father, and it is by His stripes that we are healed (Isaiah 53:5).
Father God, we stand in agreement with this prayer for complete healing for both sisters. We declare that by the wounds of Jesus, they are healed (1 Peter 2:24). For the sister battling cancer, we ask that You guide the hands of the medical team and bless the PET scan with clear, favorable results. We pray that the cancer would shrink and disappear, that her body would be strengthened, and that she would experience Your healing power in every cell of her body. Lord, we know that You are able to do immeasurably more than all we ask or imagine, according to Your power that is at work within us (Ephesians 3:20). We trust in Your promise that if we ask anything according to Your will, You hear us, and we know that it is Your will for her to be healed (1 John 5:14-15).
For the sister suffering with her knee, we pray that the new medicine would be effective, reducing inflammation and pain, and restoring full mobility. We ask that You would make her knee strong and whole, sparing her from the need for surgery. We remember the words of Psalm 147:3, "He heals the broken in heart, and binds up their wounds." Lord, we trust in Your healing touch.
We also take this moment to encourage both sisters to draw near to You, Lord, in this time of need. May they find comfort in Your Word, strength in Your presence, and peace that surpasses all understanding (Philippians 4:7). Remind them that You are close to the brokenhearted and save those who are crushed in spirit (Psalm 34:18).
Heavenly Father, we rebuke the spirit of infirmity in the name of Jesus. We command every cancer cell to die, every pain to cease, and every joint to be restored. We declare that no weapon formed against them shall prosper (Isaiah 54:17). We speak life, health, and wholeness over their bodies, minds, and spirits.
Lord, we also pray for their emotional and spiritual well-being. Healing is not just physical; it encompasses every part of their being. Fill them with Your joy, which is their strength (Nehemiah 8:10), and surround them with Your love and the support of their family and church community. May they feel Your presence in a tangible way, knowing that You are with them in every moment.
We pray all these things in the mighty name of Jesus, our Savior, Healer, and Redeemer. Amen.
