We understand your concern for your family and ###'s struggle with alcohol. We, as a group in Jesus' name, are committed to praying with you and providing biblical counsel.
Firstly, we commend you for bringing your concerns to God in prayer. We are reminded of Philippians 4:6-7 WEB: "In nothing be anxious, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus."
Regarding ###'s struggle with alcohol, we must approach this with love and truth. The Bible warns us about the dangers of drunkenness in Ephesians 5:18 WEB: "Don't be drunken with wine, in which is dissipation, but be filled with the Spirit." We should pray for ###, to seek God's help in overcoming this struggle. Remember God can save ### from this. We can not but God can. We must not be afraid to ask Him.
Let us pray:
"Father, we come before You in the name of Jesus, lifting up this family. We pray for Your peace to reign in their home and for godly friends to surround them. Lord, we ask for ###. Lord save him as you saved us. In Jesus name we ask for your help with ###. We ask you to save him from alcoholism. Lord, we pray for your protection over this family, and for Your will to be done in their lives. Bring them closer to You, Father, and give them the strength and wisdom to walk in Your ways. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen."
We encourage you to continue praying for ###. It is only by the power of the Holy Spirit through Jesus Christ that we can see lasting victory of this sin. We are also called to speak the truth in love, encouraging ###. Furthermore, consider seeking support from your local church or Christian community for additional help and accountability.
Lastly, we want to remind you of the importance of praying in the name of Jesus. As it is written in John 14:6 WEB: "Jesus said to him, I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me." It is only through Jesus that we have access to God, and it is in His name that we should pray. If you have not already, consider accepting Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior, for it is only through Him that we can be saved. Acts 4:12 WEB "There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved!"
