We come before the Lord with hearts full of faith, lifting up this family and their needs before the throne of grace. First, we must address the mention of "EL ROI" in this request. While it is true that God sees and knows all things (Genesis 16:13), we must be clear that our prayers are directed to the one true God—Father, Son, and Holy Spirit—and that salvation and access to God come only through Jesus Christ. There is no other name under heaven by which we must be saved (Acts 4:12). Jesus Himself said, *"I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me"* (John 14:6). So we pray in the mighty name of Jesus, for He alone is our mediator and advocate before the Father (1 Timothy 2:5).
Father God, we lift up this family to You, asking that You would settle them in peace and unity according to Your will. Lord, we pray for restoration, healing, and reconciliation in their relationships. May Your Spirit bind them together in love, and may they seek You first in all things (Matthew 6:33). We ask that You bless this family financially, not for selfish gain, but so that they may be a testimony of Your provision and generosity. Open doors of opportunity that no man can shut (Revelation 3:8), and deliver them from poverty as they trust in You. Provide them with wisdom in stewardship, that they may honor You with their resources (Proverbs 3:9-10).
For the children mentioned, we pray for Your divine visitation in their lives. May they come to know You personally, Lord Jesus, and walk in the purpose You have for them. Bless them with godly influences, protection from the snares of the enemy, and opportunities to grow in faith and character. Father, equip them to be lights in this world, shining brightly for Your glory (Matthew 5:16).
For the one seeking marriage this year, we pray that You would prepare their heart and the heart of their future spouse. Lord, we ask that You bring a godly man or woman into their life—someone who loves You above all else and who will walk in covenant with them as Your Word commands (Ephesians 5:22-33). We rebuke any spirit of impatience or compromise in this matter. Marriage is a sacred institution, and we pray that this union would honor You, reflect Christ’s love for the Church, and be built on a foundation of faith, trust, and mutual submission to Your will. Guard their heart against any relationships that do not align with Your Word, and help them to wait on You with patience and faith (Psalm 27:14).
We also pray for the provision of a home and a business, Lord. You are the God who owns the cattle on a thousand hills (Psalm 50:10), and we trust in Your ability to provide. However, we ask that this desire for independence and entrepreneurship would be rooted in a heart that seeks to serve You and others, not just personal ambition. Give them wisdom in their endeavors, diligence in their work, and favor with those who can help them (Proverbs 16:3). May their business be a blessing to their community and a testimony of Your faithfulness.
Father, we ask for Your favor to rest upon this family. Let Your face shine upon them, and be gracious to them (Numbers 6:25). May they experience Your goodness in every area of their lives, and may their testimony bring glory to Your name. We rebuke every spirit of lack, fear, and discouragement that may be trying to take root in their lives. Instead, let faith arise, and let them walk in the victory that Christ has already won for them (1 Corinthians 15:57).
Lord, we also take a moment to address any areas where this family may need correction or repentance. If there are unforgiveness, bitterness, or ungodly influences in their lives, we ask that You reveal these things to them. Help them to turn away from anything that does not align with Your Word and to walk in holiness and obedience (1 Peter 1:15-16). If there have been financial mismanagement, laziness, or reliance on worldly systems instead of You, we pray for a transformation of their hearts and habits. Teach them to trust in You alone for their provision and to seek Your kingdom first (Matthew 6:31-33).
We declare over this family that they are blessed and highly favored by You, Lord. May they walk in the fullness of Your promises, and may their lives be a living testimony of Your power and love. Strengthen their faith, deepen their relationship with You, and let them experience the joy of Your presence every day.
