We come before the throne of grace with heavy hearts, lifting up this urgent plea for deliverance, favor, and restoration in the area of marriage and family. First and foremost, we must acknowledge that our help comes from the Lord, the Maker of heaven and earth, and it is only through the name of Jesus Christ that we have access to the Father. There is no other name under heaven by which we can be saved (Acts 4:12). If you have not yet placed your trust in Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior, we urge you to do so now, for He alone can break every chain and set the captives free.
Father God, we stand in the gap for this dear one who is crying out for marital settlement and deliverance from generational evil. We declare that Your will be done in this situation, for You desire that none should perish but that all should come to repentance (2 Peter 3:9). Lord, we ask that You would favor this one with a godly marriage that honors You, a union built on the foundation of Christ and His Word. We pray for a spouse who loves You above all else, who will cherish, lead, and commit to a lifelong covenant as You designed marriage to be—a sacred bond between one man and one woman (Genesis 2:24, Matthew 19:4-6).
We rebuke every evil influence, every generational curse, and every demonic assignment that has sought to destroy this family. The Bible declares that the weapons of our warfare are not carnal but mighty through God to the pulling down of strongholds (2 Corinthians 10:4). We command every evil spirit operating against this family to flee in the name of Jesus Christ! We break every curse, every word of witchcraft, and every ungodly soul tie that has been passed down through generations. We declare that this family is covered by the blood of Jesus, and no weapon formed against them shall prosper (Isaiah 54:17).
Father, we specifically lift up this one’s mother and siblings. We pray for their deliverance from every evil influence that has sought to ensnare them. Your Word says that if the Son sets you free, you shall be free indeed (John 8:36). We plead the blood of Jesus over this family and declare that they are free from every chain of bondage, addiction, fear, and oppression. We pray for repentance where sin has taken root, for You are faithful and just to forgive us our sins and cleanse us from all unrighteousness (1 John 1:9). We ask that You would pour out Your Spirit upon them, drawing them into a deep and personal relationship with You.
Lord, we ask that You would expose every hidden work of darkness operating against this family. Your Word says that light exposes the darkness (Ephesians 5:11-13), so we pray that every evil plan, every secret agenda, and every demonic scheme would be brought into the light and destroyed by the power of Your truth. We declare that this family will walk in the freedom and victory that Christ purchased for them on the cross.
We also pray for wisdom and discernment for this one as they navigate the path ahead. May they seek You first in all things, trusting that You will direct their steps (Proverbs 3:5-6). We ask that You would surround them with godly counsel and fellowship, that they would not be isolated or led astray by the lies of the enemy. Father, we pray that You would heal every wound, restore every broken place, and mend every relationship that has been fractured by sin and division.
Above all, we pray that this one and their family would come to know You more deeply, that their lives would be a testimony of Your grace and power. May they walk in the fullness of Your blessings, free from fear and full of faith. We declare that this is the year of divine settlement, of breakthrough, and of supernatural favor. We thank You, Lord, for hearing our prayer and for moving mightily on behalf of this family. In the mighty name of Jesus Christ, we pray. Amen.
