A new place for the Love of Christ

Shalom In ###, there is a place, a house, the so-called "###," where inhumane conditions prevail. About ### people live there. Violence and drugs are commonplace there. And there are also people in need of care, some of whom are neglected. Nobody cares, but Jesus cares... "For the Son of Man came to save that which was lost." Luke 19:10 Please pray for Christ's light and love to come to this place in Jesus' name! May the Lord bless you abundantly (Luke 6:38, Job 42:10) and may he bless Israel in Jesus' name. Amen! Soli Deo Gloria PS And I pray that the Lord will send out harvesters into his harvest (Matthew 9:38).

Thank you for bringing this place to our attention, and for your heartfelt concern for the people living there. We stand with you in praying for the light and love of Christ to invade this place of darkness and despair in Jesus' name.

Our hearts break for the people living in such deplorable conditions, where violence and drugs have become a normal part of life. We remind ourselves of the hope we have in Jesus, who came to "heal the brokenhearted, to proclaim liberty to the captives, and recovery of sight to the blind, to set at liberty those who are oppressed" Luke 4:18.

Let us pray:

Dear Heavenly Father,

We come before You in the name of Jesus, interceding for the people living in ###. Lord, You know each one by name, and You care for them deeply. We pray that Your light would pierce the darkness that has taken hold of this place. We ask that You would comfort those who are hurting, provide for those who are in need, and deliver those who are held captive by addiction and violence.

Lord Jesus, You came to seek and to save that which was lost Luke 19:10. We pray that You would draw these precious souls to Yourself, that they may find hope, peace, and salvation in You alone. We ask You to put them in the path of Christians who are praying and ready to love them in your name and give them the good news of the gospel.

We pray for the rise of godly leaders and workers in this place, who would not grow weary in doing good, who would be the light of the world, and the salt of the earth to those within ### Matthew 5:13-16, Galatians 6:9. We ask that You would equip them with wisdom, courage, and resources to minister effectively.

Lord, we also pray for the safety and well-being of those who are neglected and cannot care for themselves. We ask that You would raise up advocates to speak on their behalf, and for resources to meet their needs.

We praise You, Lord, for Your promise to bless us as we bless others Luke 6:38, Job 42:10. We ask that You would bless Israel as you promised Genesis 12:3 and that you would pour out your blessings on all those who put their trust in You. And we also ask that you would send out harvesters into Your harvest field Matthew 9:38. We are confident that it is Your will that not any should perish, but that all should come to repentance 2 Peter 3:9.

Finally, Lord, we pray for ### as a community, that it may become a place of hope and redemption, transformed by the power of the Holy Spirit. May Your kingdom come and Your will be done in ### as it is in heaven Matthew 6:10.

We ask all these things in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Amen.

We encourage you to continue praying fervently for this place and the people who live there. Remember, "The effective, fervent prayer of a righteous man avails much" James 5:16. Stay steadfast in intercession, knowing that our God hears and answers our prayers according to His will.

We echo your heartfelt plea for this place, often referred to as the "house of the so-called 'Shalom'". It's a stark reminder that even in the most challenging of circumstances, Jesus' love and care extend. Let's pray:

"Dear Lord, we lift up this place, the people who live there, and the situations they face. We ask for Your divine intervention in the lives of those affected by violence and drugs. Comfort the broken, provide for the needy, and deliver those held captive by addiction and despair.

Lord, You see each person in this place, and You care deeply. We pray that Your light would shine brightly, dispelling the darkness that has taken hold. We ask that You would draw these precious souls to You, that they may find hope, peace, and salvation in You alone.

We also pray for the rise of godly leaders and workers in this place, who would be the light of the world and the salt of the earth. Equip them, Lord, with wisdom, courage, and resources to minister effectively.

And Lord, we pray for the safety and well-being of those who are neglected and cannot care for themselves. Raise up advocates to speak on their behalf, and provide resources to meet their needs.

We trust in Your promise to bless those who bless others, and we ask that You would bless Israel as You promised. Send out harvesters into Your harvest field, Lord, for Your will is that none should perish but that all should come to repentance.

Finally, Lord, we pray for this community to become a place of hope and redemption, transformed by the power of the Holy Spirit. May Your kingdom come and Your will be done in this place, as it is in heaven.

In Jesus' mighty name, we pray. Amen."

We continue to intercede for the place you mentioned, dear brother or sister in Christ. We are grateful that you have given us the privilege to pray alongside you for the light and love of Christ to invade the darkness that prevails in this house, bringing hope and transformation. We stand in agreement with you, claiming the promise of Luke 19:10, that the Son of Man came to seek and to save the lost.

As we have been praying, we have been reminded of the words of Jesus in Matthew 5:14-16, "You are the light of the world. A city set on a hill cannot be hidden. Nor do people light a lamp and put it under a basket, but on a stand, and it gives light to all in the house. In the same way, let your light shine before others, so that they may see your good works and give glory to your Father who is in heaven." May the Lord raise up His children to be lights in that place, shining the love of Christ into the darkness.

If you have seen any answered prayers or signs of transformation, we would be encouraged to hear about them. Please share a praise report with us all. If the situation remains unchanged or even seems to have worsened, do not be discouraged. We urge you to post the request again as a new one, and together we will continue to beseech the Lord on behalf of this place.

We bless you as you continue to seek the Lord and intercede for others. May the Lord bless you abundantly, as He promised in Luke 6:38, and may He bless Israel. We pray all this in the powerful name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior.
