A new job

I desperately need a new job so i can afford all I need. I am changing my career into IT support and have studied hard, struggling to find work. I live in a rural area so I can only apply for remote jobs. Entry level IT remote jobs without experience are so rare, please pray for me to succeed. Aslso for strength in the spiritual warfare I'm facing and to not lose faith. Amen

We have heard your cry and we join with you in bringing this need before our Father. We understand the weight you are carrying as you have studied hard to change your career into IT support and are facing the very real difficulty of finding remote entry level work in a rural area, while also feeling the pressure of spiritual warfare and the battle to hold onto faith.

We want to encourage you that God sees your diligence and your need. His word reminds us to work heartily as unto Him, Whatever you do, work heartily, as for the Lord, and not for men Colossians 3:23, and to commit our work to Him, Commit your deeds to Yahweh, and your plans shall succeed Proverbs 16:3. He also promises to provide for His children, My God will supply every need of yours according to his riches in glory in Christ Jesus Philippians 4:19. Though remote opportunities without experience seem rare to man, nothing is rare or impossible for God, and He is not limited by geography. We encourage you to continue to seek first His Kingdom and to trust that as you do, all these things will be given to you as well Matthew 6:33. Your faithfulness in studying and persevering is not unseen, and we pray God opens a door that no man can shut, a position where you can use the skills you have gained to provide for your needs and to glorify Him.

We also hear your request for strength in spiritual warfare and to not lose faith, and we stand with you in this. Scripture tells us our struggle is real, For our wrestling is not against flesh and blood, but against the principalities, against the powers, against the worlds rulers of the darkness of this age, and against the spiritual forces of wickedness in the heavenly places Ephesians 6:12. Therefore we are called to be strong in the Lord, and in the strength of his might and to put on the whole armor of God, that we may be able to stand Ephesians 6:10. When you feel weary and tempted to lose heart, remember the promise, Dont you be afraid, for I am with you. Dont be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you. Yes, I will help you. Yes, I will uphold you with the right hand of my righteousness Isaiah 41:10. God allows trials to refine our faith, knowing that the testing of your faith produces endurance, and endurance can make you perfect and complete James 1:3-4.

We noticed your prayer did not mention the name of Jesus, and we gently want to share why this is so important. It is only through Jesus that we have access to the Father and it is only by His name that we are saved. Jesus said, I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me John 14:6. And scripture declares, There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved Acts 4:12. So we always pray in the name of Jesus Christ, trusting not in our own goodness but in His sacrifice for us, believing that He died and rose again so we can be forgiven and have eternal life.

We now pray together for you.

Father in heaven, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, lifting up our brother or sister who is in need of provision and employment. Lord, You know the financial burden and the desire to work and to provide. We ask that You open the right remote door in IT support, an entry level position where their hard study can be put to use, where they can be a light for You and be provided for. Give favor with those who are hiring and make a way where it seems there is no way. In the midst of spiritual warfare, we ask You to strengthen their faith, to clothe them in Your full armor, to guard their mind and heart from discouragement and doubt. Help them to stand firm, to keep their eyes on You, and to not lose faith but to grow stronger in You each day. We pray they would know deeply that You are with them and that You will supply all their needs. Draw them ever closer to Jesus, and let them know the peace and hope that comes only through Him. We ask all this in the precious and powerful name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Amen.

We hear how hard you have been working to make this career change, and how discouraging it is to study faithfully and still face closed doors. Wanting to provide for your needs is a good and responsible desire, and the added challenge of living in a rural area where only remote work is possible makes the search even narrower. It makes sense you would feel weary and under spiritual pressure right now.

You named the job as most urgent, so we want to stay with that. Entry level remote roles are especially competitive, and sometimes an outside perspective can help spot what is missing. One practical step that often helps is to ask one or two wise, trusted people who know hiring or IT work to look over your resume and a recent application with you and give honest feedback. They may see a small adjustment or a different place to look that you have not seen on your own, and it also keeps you from carrying the whole search alone.

We also hear your desire to stay steady in faith while you wait. Keep staying close to the Lord in the simple, daily ways you know, and let others in your local church know how you are doing so they can walk with you.

Father, we lift our friend to You. You see the financial need, the diligence in studying, and the discouragement in waiting. Give provision, clear direction, and open the right door in Your timing. Strengthen faith and guard against weariness, and give peace and perseverance for each day. In Jesus' name, Amen.

Your request has been heard and we have carried it to the throne of grace on your behalf, thanking God that you have poured out your heart so plainly before Him.

We pray for you that the Lord who clothes the lilies and feeds the sparrows will open a door for honest labour whereby you may provide for your needs. You have studied hard and laboured diligently to prepare for this new calling in IT support, and though remote entry level work without experience is rare, and your dwelling in a rural place narrows the field, nothing is narrow to the Lord. He knows your situation and your necessity, and He is able to make a way where no way appears. We have asked Him to guide your applications, to give you favour with those who hire, and to provide for you daily bread according to His wisdom and love, in His time and in His way.

We have prayed also for your soul in the spiritual warfare of which you speak. This is the common lot of the pilgrim. The Christian's walk is faith and his life is faith, and that faith must be tried. The trial of your faith, being much more precious than gold that perishes, though it be tried with fire, is meant to be found unto praise and honour at the appearing of Jesus Christ. Do not think that God has forgotten you because the heavens seem as brass or because the way is lonely. It is essentially necessary to some trials that God should withdraw the light of His countenance for a season, yet even then, as Job said in his deep distress, He knows the way that I take, and when He has tried me I shall come forth as gold.

Take for your comfort that word, He will put strength in me. You ask for strength not to lose faith, and the answer of faith is, No, He will not plead against you with His great power, but He will put strength in you. Little faith is still true faith. If you have faith as a grain of mustard seed, it is the gift of God and it is precious, for it clings to Christ and will not let Him go except He bless you. Christ loves such faith, even when it trembles, because faith glorifies Him and gives Him a hearty welcome.

Therefore hold on your way. The righteous shall hold on his way, not by his own power, but because the Lord keeps him. It is not one act of faith alone, but a daily looking to Jesus, a daily prayer and watchfulness. Perseverance in the path of faith and holiness is the necessity and the promise of the Christian, and He who has begun a good work in you will perform it until the day of Jesus Christ. Cling to Christ with holy boldness and say, I will not let You go except You bless me.

Our prayer for you is this. O Lord our God, look upon this Thy servant who seeks to provide honestly and to walk faithfully. Open a suitable door for labour, give skill and clarity in study and in application, and supply all need according to Thy riches in glory by Christ Jesus. In the warfare within and without, put strength in this soul. Keep faith alive, though it be but small, and make it to grow. Let not the tempter prevail, but let Christ be seen as the chief among ten thousand and altogether lovely to a trusting heart. Sustain to the end, that he that endures to the end may be saved. We ask this in the name of Jesus Christ our only Saviour and hope. Amen.

God heal me in every area of my life. Deliver and cleanse me of everything in my life that doesn't honor You. Transform and renew my mind. Bless me with love, power, and a sound mind.
