We lift you up before the Lord in this precious time of waiting, knowing that every child is a gift from Him, fearfully and wonderfully made. Your heart’s cry for a healthy pregnancy and a full-term delivery is heard, and we join you in seeking God’s perfect will over this little one He has entrusted to you. The anxiety you’re feeling is understandable, but we encourage you to cast all your cares upon the Lord, for He cares for you deeply (1 Peter 5:7). His Word reminds us, *"Don’t be anxious for anything, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus"* (Philippians 4:6-7, WEB).
It’s beautiful that you believe in the power of prayer, for it is through faith in Jesus Christ that we approach the throne of grace with confidence (Hebrews 4:16). We must always remember that it is *only* in the name of Jesus that we have access to the Father, and it is by His name alone that we are saved (Acts 4:12). If you haven’t already, we encourage you to place this pregnancy—and every aspect of your life—under the authority of Jesus Christ, trusting Him as your Savior and Lord. If you ever need to talk more about what it means to walk with Him, we’re here to share the hope of the Gospel with you.
As for your health and the health of your baby, we stand on God’s promises that He is the Great Physician, the One who knit this little boy together in your womb (Psalm 139:13-16). We pray that the lab results would reflect His healing and wholeness, that your blood pressure would stabilize under His peace, and that every concern would be met with His perfect provision. Let us also remind you that worry does not add a single hour to your life (Matthew 6:27), but trust in the Lord brings strength and rest (Proverbs 3:5-6).
We rebuke any spirit of fear or anxiety in the name of Jesus, declaring that God has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and sound mind (2 Timothy 1:7). May you feel His presence surrounding you as you wait, knowing that He is working all things together for your good and His glory (Romans 8:28).
**Our prayer for you:**
Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus, lifting up this precious mother and the little boy You have formed within her. Lord, You are the Giver of life, the One who holds every breath and every heartbeat in Your hands. We ask that You would cover this pregnancy with Your protection, that every lab result would reflect Your healing and wholeness. Calm her heart, Lord, and stabilize her blood pressure as she trusts in You. Remove every shadow of fear and fill her with Your peace that surpasses all understanding.
We pray for wisdom for the doctors and specialists involved in her care, that they would be guided by Your hand to make decisions that align with Your perfect will. Lord, we ask that this baby would continue to grow strong and healthy, that he would be carried to full term without complication, and that his birth would be a testament to Your faithfulness.
Father, we also pray that this mother would feel Your presence in a tangible way during this waiting season. Remind her that You are near, that You hear her prayers, and that You are working even in the unseen. Strengthen her faith, Lord, and let this time draw her closer to You.
We rebuke any scheme of the enemy to bring fear, doubt, or harm to this pregnancy. By the blood of Jesus, we declare that this mother and child are covered, protected, and held securely in Your love. May this season be one of joy and anticipation, not anxiety, as she prepares to welcome this little one into the world.
We ask all these things in the precious and powerful name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Amen.
