We rejoice with you in the mighty works the Lord has already done in your life—your cancer grant approval, your healing, and the doors He is opening for your education and future! Your faith is a testament to God’s faithfulness, and we are deeply encouraged by how He has sustained you through suffering, using your story to bring hope to others. What Satan meant for evil, God is turning for good (Genesis 50:20). We praise Him that you are cancer-free and that your mind is being restored, allowing you to learn again. This is the Lord’s doing, and it is marvelous in our eyes (Psalm 118:23).
Your heart for your mother is beautiful and reflects the love of Christ. We know how deeply you long to care for her as she has cared for you, and we join you in praying for her complete healing. Stage 4 colon cancer is not too difficult for our God—He is the same yesterday, today, and forever (Hebrews 13:8), and by His stripes, we *are* healed (Isaiah 53:5). We claim this promise over her life and declare that the Lord will restore her health, just as He has restored yours. Let us not waver in faith but stand firm, knowing that nothing is impossible with God (Luke 1:37). We pray that He would strengthen her body, comfort her spirit, and give the doctors wisdom as they treat her. May she, too, testify of His healing power and live to see His goodness in the land of the living (Psalm 27:13).
Your desire to pursue education in cybersecurity is a gift from the Lord, and we thank Him for opening this door through vocational rehab. It is never too late to step into the purposes God has for you—Moses was 80 when the Lord called him to lead Israel, and Caleb was 85 when he claimed his inheritance (Joshua 14:10-12). The Lord is redeeming the time, and we pray that He would bring to light your high school diploma, removing every obstacle in your path. He is the God who makes a way where there seems to be no way (Isaiah 43:19), and we trust Him to provide all you need—including the knowledge and ability to excel in your studies. As you relearn math and writing, we pray for clarity of mind and supernatural retention, that the Lord would renew your strength like the eagle’s (Isaiah 40:31). He is restoring what the locusts have eaten (Joel 2:25), and we declare that you will thrive in this new season.
We also lift up your need for housing and the down payment. The Lord is your Provider (Jehovah Jireh), and He knows exactly where this provision will come from. Though you hit a dead end today, we remind you that our God specializes in resurrecting dead ends—He rolled away the stone from Lazarus’ tomb (John 11:39-44) and parted the Red Sea (Exodus 14:21). What seems impossible to man is possible with God (Matthew 19:26). We pray that He would supernaturally supply the funds you need, whether through a unexpected source, a generous believer, or a creative solution you haven’t yet considered. We rebuke the spirit of lack and declare that the Lord is opening the windows of heaven to pour out a blessing you cannot contain (Malachi 3:10). As you step out in faith to secure a place, we pray for divine favor with landlords, agencies, or programs that can assist you. The Lord has not brought you this far to abandon you now—He who began a good work in you will complete it (Philippians 1:6).
Your trust in the Lord’s provision for rent beyond the two months covered by the grant is a powerful testimony. We encourage you to continue walking in this faith, remembering that our Heavenly Father knows what we need before we ask (Matthew 6:8). Do not borrow trouble from tomorrow—seek first His kingdom and righteousness, and all these things will be added to you (Matthew 6:33). The Lord has already shown Himself faithful in your finances, and He will not fail you now. We pray that He would give you creative ideas for income, open doors for part-time work that accommodates your studies, or provide unexpected sources of support. His storehouses are full, and He delights in blessing His children (Psalm 37:25).
We are also deeply moved by your heart to use your suffering to glorify God and encourage others. This is the mark of a true overcomer—one who turns their pain into praise and their trials into testimonies. The apostle Paul reminds us that our light and momentary troubles are achieving for us an eternal glory that far outweighs them all (2 Corinthians 4:17). Your story is already bearing fruit, and we pray that the Lord would continue to use you mightily to inspire faith in others. May He give you opportunities to share His goodness, and may many come to know Him through your life.
Finally, we want to remind you of the power of praying *in Jesus’ name*. You began your request by thanking the Lord Jesus, and this is wonderful—it is only through His name that we have access to the Father (John 14:6). There is no other name under heaven by which we must be saved (Acts 4:12), and it is in His authority that we boldly approach the throne of grace (Hebrews 4:16). We encourage you to continue praying in Jesus’ name, for it is through Him that our prayers are heard and answered. If you ever feel weary or uncertain, remember that the Holy Spirit intercedes for us with groanings too deep for words (Romans 8:26). You are not alone in this—the entire body of Christ stands with you, and the Lord Himself fights for you (Exodus 14:14).
Let us pray together:
Heavenly Father, we come before You with hearts full of gratitude for the mighty works You have done in the life of Your servant. Lord, You have healed them of cancer, restored their mind, and opened doors for their future—we praise You for Your faithfulness! You are the God who sees, the God who provides, and the God who heals. We thank You for the cancer grant, for the opportunity to study cybersecurity, and for the hope You have placed in their heart.
Father, we lift up their mother to You. You are the Great Physician, and no disease is too advanced for Your healing touch. We speak life over her body and command every cancerous cell to die in the name of Jesus. Lord, let her testimony be one of Your miraculous power, that she may live to declare Your works (Psalm 118:17). Strengthen her, comfort her, and let her feel Your presence in a tangible way. Give the doctors wisdom and guide every decision made for her treatment. We pray for a supernatural turnaround in her health, that she would be completely restored and made whole.
Lord, we ask You to provide the down payment for a home and the ongoing rent. You own the cattle on a thousand hills (Psalm 50:10), and nothing is too hard for You. Open the floodgates of heaven and pour out Your blessing. Lead Your servant to the right people, the right programs, and the right opportunities. Give them favor in the eyes of those who can help, and let Your provision come swiftly and abundantly. We rebuke every spirit of delay, lack, and discouragement, and we declare that You are making a way where there seems to be no way.
Father, we pray for their education. Bring to light the records needed for their enrollment, and let every administrative hurdle be removed. Give them a sharp mind, retention, and understanding as they study. Surround them with godly mentors and professors who will encourage and support them. Let this season of learning be marked by Your favor and success.
We thank You for the testimony they have already become. Use their story to draw others to You, Lord. Let their life be a beacon of hope, showing that You are a God who redeems, restores, and renews. Give them opportunities to share Your love and goodness with those who are hurting.
Lastly, Father, we pray for their continued faith and trust in You. When doubts arise, remind them of how far You have brought them. When fear creeps in, let them remember that You are with them and will never leave them (Deuteronomy 31:6). Fill them with Your peace that surpasses all understanding (Philippians 4:7), and let them walk in the confidence that You are working all things together for their good (Romans 8:28).
We ask all these things in the mighty and matchless name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Amen.
