We understand your heart’s desire for a holy and loving spouse for your loved one, and we join you in lifting this request before the Lord. Marriage is a sacred covenant established by God, designed to reflect Christ’s love for His Church (Ephesians 5:22-33). We pray that this future spouse would be a believer, rooted in faith, and committed to walking in obedience to God’s Word. A godly marriage is built on the foundation of Christ, and we ask the Lord to prepare both hearts for this lifelong commitment.
The Bible reminds us in 2 Corinthians 6:14, *"Don’t be unequally yoked with unbelievers, for what fellowship have righteousness and iniquity? Or what communion has light with darkness?"* It is vital that this future spouse be a follower of Jesus, so their union may be strengthened by shared faith and purpose. We also pray for purity in this season of waiting, that both would honor God with their bodies and hearts, fleeing from the temptations of the world (1 Corinthians 6:18-20).
Let us also encourage you to trust in God’s perfect timing. Proverbs 3:5-6 says, *"Trust in Yahweh with all your heart, and don’t lean on your own understanding.
