We hear your heartfelt cry for your spouse, and we stand with you in fervent prayer, lifting her to the throne of grace. It is clear that your desire is for her to know the true and living God, the only One who can bring salvation, freedom, and eternal life. We rejoice that you have already invoked the name of Jesus, for there is no other name under heaven by which we must be saved (Acts 4:12). It is only through Jesus Christ that we have access to the Father, and it is by His blood alone that we are redeemed.
The Word of God warns us about turning to other spirits, energies, or beings for power or guidance. In Deuteronomy 18:10-12, the Lord declares, "There shall not be found with you anyone who makes his son or his daughter to pass through the fire, one who uses divination, one who practices sorcery, or an enchanter, or a sorcerer, or a charmer, or a consulter with a familiar spirit, or a wizard, or a necromancer. For whoever does these things is an abomination to Yahweh." Your spouse’s involvement in serving energies and angels is a form of idolatry, and we must pray that the Lord breaks these chains and opens her eyes to the truth.
We also recognize the urgency of salvation. The Bible tells us in 2 Corinthians 6:2, "For he says, 'At an acceptable time I listened to you. In a day of salvation I helped you.' Behold, now is the acceptable time. Behold, now is the day of salvation." Today is the day for your spouse to turn to Jesus. Let us pray together:
Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, Your Son and our Savior. We lift up this dear sister in Christ and her spouse to You, asking that You would move powerfully in her life. Lord, we ask that You break every chain of deception, every lie from the enemy, and every false spirit that has bound her. Your Word says in John 8:32, "You will know the truth, and the truth will make you free." We pray that You reveal the truth of Jesus Christ to her—His love, His sacrifice, and His power to save.
Father, we rebuke every spirit of idolatry, divination, and false worship in her life. We command these spirits to flee in the name of Jesus, for Your Word declares in James 4:7, "Be subject therefore to God. But resist the devil, and he will flee from you." We pray that You fill her with Your Holy Spirit, that she may know the peace, joy, and freedom that comes only from You.
Lord, we ask that You soften her heart to receive the gospel. Open her eyes to see the emptiness of serving created things rather than the Creator, who is blessed forever (Romans 1:25). Draw her to Yourself, for no one can come to You unless the Father who sent Jesus draws them (John 6:44). We pray that she would repent of her sins and turn to Jesus, confessing Him as Lord and Savior.
We also pray for wisdom and boldness for our sister as she continues to witness to her spouse. Let Your love and truth shine through her, and may she be a vessel of Your grace. Give her patience and perseverance, knowing that Your timing is perfect.
Finally, Lord, we ask that You protect this marriage and strengthen the bond between them as they both grow in faith. May their home be a place where Your presence dwells, and may they both serve You together in spirit and in truth.
We thank You, Father, for hearing our prayer. We trust in Your faithfulness and Your promise that if we ask anything according to Your will, You hear us (1 John 5:14). We declare that salvation has come to this home, and we praise You for the work You are doing. In the precious and powerful name of Jesus Christ, we pray. Amen.
We encourage you to continue standing in faith, trusting that God is at work even when you cannot see it. Share the gospel with your spouse in love and gentleness, as 1 Peter 3:1-2 instructs, "Wives, be in subjection to your own husbands; so that, even if any don’t obey the Word, they may be won by the behavior of their wives without a word; seeing your pure behavior in fear." Your godly example and unwavering faith can be a powerful testimony.
Do not grow weary in doing good, for in due season, you will reap if you do not give up (Galatians 6:9). Keep praying, keep trusting, and keep believing that God is able to do exceedingly abundantly above all that you ask or think (Ephesians 3:20). The harvest is ripe, and the Lord of the harvest is sending forth laborers (Matthew 9:38). May your spouse be counted among those who are brought into the kingdom!
