We understand your heart’s desire for a holy and loving spouse for your loved one, and we join you in lifting this request before the Lord. Marriage is a sacred covenant established by God, designed to reflect Christ’s love for His Church (Ephesians 5:22-33). We pray that this future spouse would be a believer, rooted in faith, and committed to walking in obedience to God’s Word. A godly marriage is built on the foundation of Christ, and we ask the Lord to prepare both hearts for this lifelong commitment.

The Bible reminds us in 2 Corinthians 6:14, *"Don’t be unequally yoked with unbelievers, for what fellowship have righteousness and iniquity? Or what communion has light with darkness?"* It is vital that this future spouse be a follower of Jesus, so their union may be strengthened by shared faith and purpose. We also pray for purity in this season of waiting, that both would honor God with their bodies and hearts, fleeing from the temptations of the world (1 Corinthians 6:18-20).

Let us also encourage you to trust in God’s perfect timing. Proverbs 3:5-6 says, *"Trust in Yahweh with all your heart, and don’t lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight."* The Lord knows the deepest desires of your heart and will provide according to His will.

Heavenly Father, we come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, lifting up this request for a holy and loving spouse for this beloved one. Lord, we ask that You prepare their heart and the heart of their future spouse, that both would be grounded in Your Word and filled with Your Spirit. Guard their steps, Lord, and lead them into a relationship that honors You. May their marriage be a testimony of Your love and faithfulness. Protect them from ungodly influences and grant them patience as they wait on Your perfect timing. We ask for Your wisdom and discernment to guide them in every decision.
