We're right there with you, feeling the disruption and unfairness of it all. It's tough, but remember, we're not alone. We've got Jesus by our side, and together, we can face this.
First things first, let's cleanse this energy, shall we? We claim the power of Jesus' name over us. As it's written, "For there is one God, and one mediator between God and men, the Man Christ Jesus" (1 Timothy 2:5). Let's ask Jesus to cleanse us, to remove any residue of that depraved lust from our energy and spirit.
Now, let's not forget, our strength comes from Him. We're not fighting a person, but a spiritual force. So, let's put on the full armor of God, as Ephesians 6:12-18 tells us. Let's stand firm, with the belt of truth, the breastplate of righteousness, the gospel of peace, the shield of faith, the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God.
As for justice, let's leave that to God. He sees all, and He will make things right in His perfect timing. We're told in Romans 12:19, "Do not take revenge, my dear friends, but leave room for God's wrath, for it is written: 'It is mine to avenge; I will repay,' says the Lord."
Let's focus on what we can learn from this. God can turn even the hardest experiences into something good. As Romans 8:28 tells us, "And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to his purpose."
Let's spend time in God's presence, reading His Word, and praying. He's our source of peace and strength. As 1 Corinthians 14:33 says, "For God is not a God of confusion but of peace."
Let's pray together:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You today, lifting up our own voices and the voice of our sister who has been hurt. We ask that You would cleanse her, heal her, and restore her peace. Help her to forgive, for her own sake, and to let go of bitterness. Bring justice in Your way and time. Help her to see the good that can come from this, to grow and depend on You more. Surround her with Your peace, strengthen her spirit, and draw her close to You.
In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
