We join with you in lifting up your requests to our heavenly Father, trusting in His goodness and sovereignty. It is only in the name of Jesus that we can approach God the Father. Jesus said "I am the way, the truth and the life. No one comes to the father except through me." We are so grateful that you acknowledged this in your request.
Let us pray together:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You in the name of Jesus, lifting up this parent's heartfelt requests. Lord, we ask that if it is Your will, their son will have a good night, filled with happiness and peace, not sadness or stress. May he find joy in You and in his friendships. Guide him and protect him as he grows and help him to be a friend that is kind, empathetic, and loving. Surround him with friends that will encourage him and help him to grow in his faith. Help him to make wise decisions and live in a way that is pleasing to you. Help him to decide early to follow Jesus all the days of his life and give him the strength and courage to be a light and an example to his friends. In Jesus's name, rebuke any attacks of the enemy on his mind that would cause anxiety, sadness, or depression. May he be filled with the peace of God that passes all understanding.
Father, we also ask for Your guidance and provision in finding a suitable therapist for their son. Direct them to someone who will not only accept their insurance but also provide the quality care. Help them to be wise and ask for references and help to know if they are a godly and wise counselor who will give advice that will help and be pleasing to you. We know that You see their financial situation and will provide a way for them to afford the care their son needs. We trust in Your promise, "But my God shall supply all your need according to his riches in glory by Christ Jesus." Help this parent to trust you and may they be able to help others because of your great provision.
Lord, we also lift up their son's health. We pray that You would protect him from illness and injury. We know that he is a gift and we ask that you would help him to grow strong and be healthy all the days of his life.
Father, we thank You for Your faithfulness and for walking alongside this family. We ask that You would surround them with Your love and peace, and help them to trust you and know that you are sovereign and in control. May they be a light to others and give you all the glory.
In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
We encourage you to continue trusting in God's provision and goodness. Remember the words of Paul, "Be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus."
Stand firm in your faith, and know that we are here with you, interceding and believing for God's best in your life. If there are any areas of your life that are not aligning with the word of God, take the time to repent and ask God to help you to live a life that is pleasing to him.
Prayer Focus: God, Thank You for loving me. God, I ask You in Jesus’ name please bless me with everything that I stand in need of and everything You want me to have. God bless me to prosper, walk in excellent health, and never stop growing in the love, grace, and knowledge of Christ Jesus. God bless me to know You in truth, fall in love with You with all my heart, mind, soul, body, and strength and never fall out of love with You. Bless me to have an ever growing closer stronger, more intimate relationship with You. Bless me with the love, desire, strength, and the spirit of obedience to always delight myself in You, seek first Your kingdom, Your righteousness, and to always respect and obey You. Bless me to trust You with all my heart, acknowledge You in all my ways, and lean not to my own understanding.
