A few visions

Dear god, I got a email saying that they had these visions. This is what was said in my email. A first large financial windfall, that could allow you to pay off all your debts and lead a better life than the one you are leading today
They could be very large and extremely luxurious !
An encounter that you have been secretly hoping for. It could totally change your life for the better in a way that you have wanted for a very long time
An incredible chance! A chance that happens very rarely, probably only once a century. It could make you the happiest person on earth
A second windfall! That could definitively protect you from all financial worries, and allow you to live, and spend money as you wish, without ever having to keep count.
I was told that on friday September 4th and Thursday September 10th play numbers 13 and 27 at the casino. I was also told that on Saturday November 7th through Monday November 9th play numbers 19 and 42 at the casino. Where am I going to get the money from. How much should I bet. What casino will I be in? I ask that you reveal all this. I ask that you take care of all this. I pray that all this come true in Jesus name.

We hear your longing for financial freedom and a better life, and we understand the hope these visions have stirred in you. However, we must address this with great care and biblical truth. The email you received is not from God, but rather a deceptive scheme, likely from those who seek to exploit hope for profit. Scripture warns us clearly:

"Beloved, don’t believe every spirit, but test the spirits, whether they are of God, because many false prophets have gone out into the world." (1 John 4:1 WEB)

God does not operate through lottery numbers, casinos, or get-rich-quick schemes. He provides for His children through honest work, wisdom, and stewardship, not through games of chance that prey on desperation. Gambling is rooted in greed and luck, not faith, and it often leads to greater bondage rather than freedom. The Bible says:

"For the love of money is a root of all kinds of evil. Some have been led astray from the faith in their greed, and have pierced themselves through with many sorrows." (1 Timothy 6:10 WEB)

We must also rebuke the spirit of divination and fortune-telling behind these "visions." God forbids seeking guidance from omens, mediums, or false prophecies:

"There shall not be found with you anyone who makes his son or his daughter to pass through the fire, one who uses divination, one who practices sorcery, or an enchanter, or a sorcerer, or a charmer, or a consulter with a familiar spirit, or a wizard, or a necromancer. For whoever does these things is an abomination to Yahweh." (Deuteronomy 18:10-12 WEB)

Instead of chasing fleeting riches, we encourage you to seek God’s true provision through prayer, wise financial planning, and contentment. If you are in debt, ask the Lord for wisdom to manage what He has already given you. If you desire a better life, pursue holiness, hard work, and trust in His timing. The Bible assures us:

"But seek first God’s Kingdom and his righteousness; and all these things will be given to you as well." (Matthew 6:33 WEB)

We also notice that while you ended your prayer "in Jesus' name," we must emphasize that salvation comes only through faith in Jesus Christ, not through signs, visions, or worldly wealth. If you have not yet surrendered your life to Him, we urge you to do so today. Confess your sins, believe in His death and resurrection, and receive His gift of eternal life:

"For God so loved the world, that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him should not perish, but have eternal life." (John 3:16 WEB)

Let us pray together:

Heavenly Father, we come before You with hearts heavy for our brother/sister who has been misled by false promises. We ask that You open their eyes to the deception of this email and protect them from the snares of greed and gambling. Forgive them for seeking answers outside of Your will, and draw them back to Your truth. Lord, provide for their needs according to Your riches in glory. Give them wisdom to manage their finances, discipline to work diligently, and contentment in Your provision. If they do not know You as Savior, reveal Yourself to them in a powerful way. Break the chains of financial anxiety and replace them with trust in Your faithfulness. We rebuke every spirit of divination and false prophecy in Jesus’ name, and we declare that no weapon formed against them shall prosper. May they find true riches in a relationship with You. In Jesus’ mighty name, we pray. Amen.

We encourage you to delete this email and reject its messages. Instead, seek godly counsel from your local church about practical steps to improve your financial situation. If you are struggling with debt, consider speaking with a Christian financial advisor or mentor who can help you create a budget and plan for the future. God’s blessings are not found in luck or schemes, but in obedience, faithfulness, and trust in Him.

This kind of email can stir up a lot of hope, especially when money is tight and the weight of debt feels heavy. We hear that deep longing for a way out, for freedom from financial worry and a chance at the life you’ve been secretly hoping for. Those desires are real, and God cares about every one of them.

But when a message comes with urgent-sounding “visions,” specific casino dates and numbers, and guarantees of huge windfalls, we’ve learned to pause. That kind of promise often plays on desperation, not on God’s quiet, steady provision. Gambling as a path to financial rescue almost always leads to deeper loss, spiritually, relationally, and financially, even if the promises sound certain. The source of the email isn’t likely to be a safe guide.

Instead of chasing those predictions, we’d encourage you to bring your actual situation, your debts, your longings, your questions about money, to someone you can trust face-to-face. That might be a pastor, a mature friend, or even a free financial counseling service in your area. A clear picture of your income and expenses, and some help with a realistic plan, can be a concrete step toward the peace you’re really after. It’s not as flashy as a jackpot, but it’s solid ground.

We also want you to know you’re not alone in this. Many in our own church community have walked through seasons where the numbers just don’t add up. We often find that God meets our needs through the ordinary kindness of his people, through work, and through one honest step at a time, not through a gamble that demands we risk what we already have.

Lord Jesus, we ask you to protect this one from any voice that would deceive or exploit. Replace the pull of quick riches with your steady peace. Show a practical path forward, bring wise help alongside, and provide for every true need. In your name we pray, Amen.

You have set your heart upon a great error, coveting sudden riches and trusting in the prediction of numbers and casinos. This is not the seeking of the Lord of which the Psalmist speaks, but a chasing after vanities that cannot profit the soul. What will it profit a man if he gain the whole world and lose his own soul? The Lord Jesus is that bread of life, and he that believes on Him has everlasting life. Until you have life in Him, all the wealth of this world is but a gilded coffin for a dead man. First, life through believing, then food for that life; but your eye is set upon the things of this world, not upon the Kingdom of God and His righteousness.

Consider the miracle of the loaves. Christ is grand in emergencies; He provided bread for the multitude, yet they sought Him again for more bread, not for the true bread from heaven. Do not seek the things that perish, but that meat which endures unto everlasting life. If you would truly seek the Lord, you would find that He has promised they that seek Him shall not lack any good thing. But you must seek Him aright, not as a talisman to satisfy your earthly lusts. You ask, “Where am I going to get the money from?” as if the Lord were a fortune-teller to direct your gambling footsteps. This is a grievous dishonor to His holy name. He is not a minister of sin, nor does He bless schemes that prey upon covetousness.

Cast that spirit of unbelief and superstition from you, and look to Jesus alone for your soul’s salvation. When the woman was bowed together for eighteen years, Christ spoke and loosed her; He did not send her to a gaming table. He alone can work that miracle of mercy. I charge you, seek you first the Kingdom of God, and all these things, the daily bread you truly need, shall be added unto you. Leave your vain visions; they come not from the Most High. Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ, and you shall be saved. Your life must be hid in Him, and then, whether you have much or little, you will have the true riches. The Lord give you grace to see this.

Those visions are not from the Lord. They bear the marks of a snare, not of the Holy Spirit. The Lord Jesus warned us plainly that false prophets and false Christs would arise, and that their promises would look attractive, even like an escape from trouble. But He also said that such voices would lead many astray. The email you received is such a test. It offers sudden riches, luxury, freedom from financial worry, and a rare chance of happiness. That is the language of the world, the flesh, and the devil, not the voice of the Good Shepherd. God does not reveal casino numbers to His children. He does not direct His people to wager money in order to be freed from debt. His Word says that the love of money is a root of all kinds of evil, and that we should not put the Lord our God to the test.

You ask where the money will come from, how much to bet, and which casino to enter. The answer is clear. You should not bet any amount, and you should not enter any casino. Do not spend money you do not have on a lie. The dates and numbers you were told are not signs from heaven. They are exactly the kind of deceptive sign that accompanies false prophecy. The fact that the message sounds so specific does not make it divine. It makes it more dangerous. A spiritual snare often comes wrapped in promises of ease and hidden knowledge. But God has already revealed His will. He calls us to honest work, to contentment, to asking for daily bread, and to seeking first His kingdom. He does not call us to a roulette wheel.

Remember the parable of the servant who had been forgiven a very great debt. When he grasped for his fellow servant and demanded a small amount, he fell into great condemnation. You and I owe God far more than we can pay, yet He is patient with us. Do not use His patience as an excuse to run after what He forbids. If you have debts, bring them to God honestly. Ask the church for counsel. Work diligently. Seek help from those who can give wise financial guidance. But do not treat a casino as your deliverer. It is a house of loss and a breeding ground for covetousness.

I will not pray for these visions to come true, because that would be asking God to bless what He has not commanded and what leads people away from Christ. But I will pray for your deliverance from this deception. I will pray that your eyes be opened, that your heart turn away from the love of money, and that your true needs be met in righteous ways. The encounter you secretly hope for is not a windfall. It is the mercy of Christ meeting you in repentance. Flee from this snare, and do not give place to the devil.

You are asking God to reveal where to get money, how much to bet, and which casino to enter, and you are asking him to make these visions come true. But the real need in your life is not to know the place or the amount. The deeper question is whether these desires are drawing you toward God or away from him.

There is a kind of seeking that looks religious but is really seeking something else. People can seek a feeling of peace, a release from financial pressure, or the life they have secretly wanted, all while calling it prayer. God is not fooled by that. He knows whether we are seeking his face or seeking what we hope he will give us. You have asked for these specific numbers and dates to work out. But notice what is actually being sought: a life without counting the cost, money to spend as you wish, an encounter you have been hoping for, happiness on earth. Those are not the same as seeking God.

The Scriptures warn that there will be false signs and wonders, and that they can be very impressive. A vision of sudden wealth can feel like a message from heaven. But if it directs you toward the casino and toward gambling, then you already have reason to test it. God does not promise to make anyone rich through games of chance. He does not owe us that. We are debtors to him, not the other way around. If a message tells you that your hope is in a windfall, then even if it sounds spiritual, it is pointing you toward the wrong foundation.

There are also real financial hardships. The early believers suffered greatly and needed help. But the answer was not a secret set of numbers. The answer was the people of God caring for one another, and above all the reminder that redemption is near. We are not promised that all debts will be paid off in this life or that we will live without worry. We are promised that if we seek first the kingdom of God, he knows what we need. The problem is when the desire for financial protection becomes so large that it starts to look like the main thing.

You asked that all this come true in Jesus' name. But think about what that means. The name of Jesus is not a formula to turn a casino visit into a blessing. He taught his disciples to pray for daily bread, not for luxury. He warned against storing up treasures on earth. He called people to repent and believe, not to gamble with confidence.

The better prayer is not, "Make these dates and numbers work out," but, "Lord, search my heart and show me what I am really seeking. Forgive me for wanting my own comfort more than I want you. Teach me to trust you for my daily needs, and give me contentment in you whether I have little or much." That is a prayer God will answer.

Do not despise the small provision, the steady work, the ordinary means by which God supplies. Do not think that a rare and spectacular chance is the only way out. God often provides through simple faithfulness. And if he chooses not to give you what you want, it is not because he has abandoned you. It is because he is calling you to something better than the happiness you are imagining.

Let go of these visions. They are not from the path of faith you have received. Lay down the hope of numbers and windfalls, and bring your real need to God. He already knows it. He is not waiting for you to find the right casino or the right bet. He is waiting for you to stop chasing signs and start seeking him.
