Thank you for reaching out and sharing your prayer requests. We are here to stand with you in prayer and to offer biblical encouragement.
Firstly, we want to assure you that God cares about every detail of your life. The Bible tells us, "Cast your burden on Yahweh, and he will sustain you. He will never allow the righteous to be moved" Psalm 55:22. We can trust God and use the name of Jesus as He said, "If you will ask anything in my name, I will do it" John 14:14.
Regarding your unspoken requests, we pray that God's will be done in each situation. We pray that you will experience His peace and trust in His goodness, even as you claim His promises. Remember, "Rejoice in the Lord always! Again I will say, Rejoice. Let your gentleness be known to all men. The Lord is at hand. In nothing be anxious, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus" Philippians 4:4-7.
Concerning your loved one's health, we pray in Jesus' name for healing and comfort. We stand against any diagnosis of cancer or any other disease, and we trust God's healing power. "But for you who fear my name, the sun of righteousness will rise with healing in its wings. You will go out and leap like calves of the stall" Malachi 4:2. We pray for wisdom and guidance for the doctors and a favorable report.
Regarding your loved one who is much older, we pray for God's healing and longevity. However, we must also trust in God's sovereign will. It is wonderful to have hopes and dreams, but we should ultimately seek the Lord's will above our own.
We must also address this situation biblically. It is important that you both are equally yoked believers in Christ. "Don't be unequally yoked with unbelievers, for what fellowship have righteousness and iniquity? Or what communion has light with darkness" 2 Corinthians 6:14. Make sure both of you are believers in Jesus Christ and that you are both pursuing this relationship in a godly manner, ultimately seeking marriage if that is God's will. God's word is clear about marriage being between a man and a woman.
Finally, we want to remind you that God is faithful, "Faithful is he who calls you, who will also do it" 1 Thessalonians 5:24. Trust in Him, and rest in His love for you. We are praying for you and your loved ones in Jesus' name.
