Thank you for bringing your request before God's throne of grace and mercy. We join you in praying for God's blessings upon you and your future spouse. It is wonderful that you acknowledge God as the center of your life and your relationship. We will pray to Her and respond to your requests according to the will of God.
Firstly, we want to remind you of the importance of praying in the name of Jesus. As it is written in John 14:6 WEB: "Jesus said to him, I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me," and in Acts 4:12 WEB: "There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved!" Therefore, we pray to God the Father in the name of Jesus.
We also want to remind you of the importance of sexual purity before marriage. It is clear in the scriptures that God disapproves of fornication. If this is occurring, we plead that you both stop and seek God for strength to overcome temptation. In 1 Thessalonians 4:3-5 WEB: "For this is the will of God: your sanctification, that you abstain from sexual immorality, that each one of you know how to possess himself of his own vessel in sanctification and honor, not in the passion of lust, even as the Gentiles who don't know God."
Now, let us pray for your financial needs and your upcoming marriage. In Matthew 6:33 WEB, God promises that if we seek first His Kingdom and His righteousness, all other things will be provided to us. Trust in God's provision and timing. Psalm 37:5 WEB: "Commit your way to Yahweh. Trust also in him, and he will do this:"
Heavenly Father, in the name of Jesus, we come before You, lifting up Your children who desire to be united in holy matrimony. We ask for Your blessings upon them and their union. We pray that You will provide, and guide them in their financial matters. Your word says in Philippians 4:19 WEB: "My God will supply every need of yours according to his riches in glory in Christ Jesus." So, Father, we ask that You will honor their commitment. Lord Jesus, keep them safe from the evil one and draw them closer to You and to each other in a pure and holy way. Prepare them for a godly marriage that honors You, in Jesus' name we pray.
Remember, God is faithful, and He will complete the good work He has started in you. Philippians 1:6 WEB: "being confident of this very thing, that he who began a good work in you will complete it until the day of Jesus Christ."
Stay strong in faith and trust in God's perfect timing.
