A child in critical condition with Meningitis/ needing emergency heart surgery

Our little Eddie Rodriguez continues to battle meningitis. His lungs collapsed yesterday and the doctors need to operate on him immediately to remove bacteria from his heart. They wanted to wait 2 weeks so that he is strong enough to withstand the surgery, but two weeks is no longer an option. It is moment by moment checking his vitals. Once they have stabilized him, he will be rushed into surgery. I ask for prayer to be with the doctors as they operate and that Eddie have the strength and assurance from God to fight this disease. Only through God will he be healed.

Please place Your healing hand over Eddie Rodriquez. Bring to good health every cell in his body and let all glory, honor, and praise be reflected to You. Strengthen this child's body; Give the surgeons and medical staff wisdom in treating Eddie, and let Your soverignity be manifest in this situation. To Jesus glorious name I ask for Your help. Lord, I continue to pray for Eddie. Help him to get through this and to recover quickly from his illness. Give the doctors knowledge when operating on him, and let them care for him compassionately and be hospitable. Lord, you know this young man from the inside out and the pain he feels associated with meningitis. You have felt his suffering, wept as he has wept, and been there for him throughout all of his life. I pray that this disease will soon diminish, and that his body will be healed. Lord, I believe that with our prayers and trust, you will heal this child of yours. Thank you for taking our requests and hearing our cries for help. You care for us.
