Please pray for my daughter Dawn, who has RSDS, if you would like to know more about this disease please go to www.rsds.org this disease has affected all of her body with the exception of her left arm and hand. She is in extreme pain 24 /7; 365 days per year. On a good day her pain level is a 7, that’s a good day. She suffers from so many side effects from this dreaded disease, such as burning pain from the inside out making she feels like her skin is on fire all the time, a mere hug is so painful that it will make Dawn cry, her daily showers cause her pain to heighten, clothing sock and shoes cause added pain, suffers with migraines two to three per week, insomnia – she has not had a restful full night sleep in so long, chronic fatigue, damage to her bones, tissues, mussels etc., the side effects are just too numerous to list.
As if RSDS were not enough for Dawn to deal with she has also been diagnosed with Fibromyalgia and after some very extensive blood tests were conducted they found she has Lyme disease. Dawn will require long term care for this as well. Her doctor will be checking with the CDC as to a doctor in her area who can treat her for Lyme Disease.
Dawn’s appeal with RS Insurance Company is still going on causing her additional stress, depression etc. She should be concentrating more on her health issues not having to expend her energy doing battle with her insurance company for her LDT benefits to be reinstated, if anyone deserves her LTD benefits it’s Dawn! Just looking at her you can see she is in such pain and too weak to do anything, I clean her house weekly, do most of her laundry because she cannot lift anything heavy. RS Insurance hired two doctors to evaluate her condition, one conducted an exam (he would not allow my sister in the room as Dawn requested) and the other will review the case, both of these doctors are paid by her insurance company and both are looked upon less than favorable by the medical profession. Dawn was also told by her attorney that one of the doctors is a “BAD GUYâ€! The other doctor who did the exam has a very bad reputation as well, Dawn was told by her own doctors this guy will always find in favor of the insurance company. Please pray that she wins this appeal very soon, so she will have the money to pay for her daily living expenses, medical expenses as well as being able to focus on her medical issues. She now also needs to focus on a third surgery to remove her spinal cord stimulator which causes too much added pain when turned on or off. These insurance companies need to concentrate more on the people they insure and collect premiums from than their shareholders annual profits!
This kid just cannot catch a break; things just seem to be going from bad to worse; SHE TRULY NEEDS A MIRCLE! She will be turning 40 on August 21 and I pray her life will do a complete turnaround for the better as she is a wonderful person and deserves to have a healthy happy life and prosperous life.
I’m feeling the financial pinch, supporting Dawn and paying for her many tests, medications etc. are financial draining me.
