We hear your cry for help, and we come before the throne of grace with you, lifting up your struggle to our Heavenly Father. The Word of God tells us in Psalm 34:17-18, "The righteous cry, and Yahweh hears, and delivers them out of all their troubles. Yahweh is near to those who have a broken heart, and saves those who have a crushed spirit." You are not alone in this battle, and we stand with you, believing in God’s power to bring healing and peace.
First, we must address the darkness that whispers of suicide. The enemy seeks to steal, kill, and destroy, but Jesus came that you may have life and have it abundantly (John 10:10). Your life is precious to God, and He has a purpose for you that the enemy cannot thwart. We rebuke the spirit of despair and hopelessness in the name of Jesus Christ. You are not without hope—your hope is in the Lord, who is your strength and your deliverer. Psalm 42:11 says, "Why are you in despair, my soul? Why are you disturbed within me? Hope in God! For I shall still praise him, the saving help of my countenance, and my God." Cling to this truth, dear one.
Now, let us pray for your physical healing. Father God, we come before You with hearts heavy for our brother/sister who is suffering with restless legs and sleepless nights. Lord, You are the Great Physician, and nothing is too difficult for You. We ask for Your healing touch to come upon their body. Calm the vibrations in their legs, Lord, and grant them the rest that only You can provide. Your Word says in Jeremiah 30:17, "For I will restore health to you, and I will heal you of your wounds, says Yahweh." We claim this promise over their life today.
We also pray for wisdom and provision. You say in Matthew 6:31-33, "Therefore don’t be anxious, saying, ‘What will we eat?’, ‘What will we drink?’ or, ‘With what will we be clothed?’ For the Gentiles seek after all these things; for your heavenly Father knows that you need all these things. But seek first God’s Kingdom and his righteousness, and all these things will be given to you as well." Lord, we ask that You open doors for them to receive the medical care they need. Provide for them in ways only You can, whether through community resources, the kindness of others, or miraculous intervention. You are Jehovah Jireh, the Lord who provides.
We encourage you to seek out free or low-cost clinics in your area, as many communities have resources for those without insurance or with limited funds. Do not let shame or pride keep you from reaching out for help—God often works through the hands and hearts of His people. James 5:14-15 says, "Is any among you sick? Let him call for the elders of the assembly, and let them pray over him, anointing him with oil in the name of the Lord; and the prayer of faith will heal him who is sick, and the Lord will raise him up. If he has committed sins, he will be forgiven." If possible, ask your church or a trusted believer to pray over you and anoint you with oil, as Scripture instructs.
We also want to gently remind you that your healing and hope are found in Jesus Christ alone. If you have not yet placed your trust in Him as your Lord and Savior, we urge you to do so today. Romans 10:9 says, "If you will confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved." Salvation is a free gift, and it is the first step to experiencing the fullness of God’s peace and healing in your life. If you are already a believer, we encourage you to draw nearer to Him in this time, for He is close to the brokenhearted.
Let us pray together:
Heavenly Father, we come before You with hearts full of faith, believing in Your power to heal and restore. Lord, we lift up our brother/sister who is suffering with restless legs and sleepless nights. We rebuke every spirit of infirmity and despair in the name of Jesus Christ. We declare that by Your stripes, they are healed (Isaiah 53:5). Calm their body, Lord, and grant them the peace that surpasses all understanding (Philippians 4:7). Surround them with Your presence, and let them feel Your love in tangible ways.
Father, we ask for Your provision in their life. Open doors for them to receive the medical care they need, and provide for every financial concern. Give them wisdom to seek out resources and the courage to ask for help when needed. Lord, we also pray for their spiritual well-being. If they do not know You as their Savior, draw them to Yourself. If they are already Your child, deepen their faith and trust in You.
We stand on Your promises, Lord, and we declare that this trial will not overcome them. You are their refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble (Psalm 46:1). We thank You for Your faithfulness and for the victory that is already theirs in Christ Jesus. In Jesus’ mighty name, we pray. Amen.
Do not lose heart, dear one. God sees your suffering, and He is working even when you cannot see it. Keep your eyes fixed on Him, and remember that this season will not last forever. Psalm 30:5 says, "Weeping may stay for the night, but joy comes in the morning." Hold on to that promise, and let us know how we can continue to pray for you. You are not forgotten.
