We understand that you are feeling distressed and unable to sleep due to concerns about an individual who wishes harm upon you. First, we want to remind you that our help comes from the name of the Lord, who made heaven and earth. It is important to come before the Lord with all our needs, and in the name of Jesus, we can find peace and protection. Let's pray together:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You in the name of Jesus, lifting up Your child who is in distress. They are feeling threatened and unable to sleep due to the malicious intentions of another individual. We pray for Your divine protection and intervention in this situation.
Lord, You tell us in Psalm 121:1-2, "I will lift up my eyes to the hills. Where does my help come from? My help comes from Yahweh, who made heaven and earth." We trust in Your power and Your ability to keep us safe.
We also know that You tell us in 2 Timothy 1:7, "For God did not give us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and self-control." We rebuke any spirit of fear and ask that You fill us with Your perfect love, which casts out fear.
We pray for the individual who is causing harm. We know that vengeance is Yours, Lord, and You will repay. We also know that You desire all people to be saved and come to the knowledge of the truth. We pray that this person would repent and turn to You, but we also ask for Your protection and justice in this situation.
Finally, we pray for peace and rest. In Psalm 4:8, You tell us, "I will both lay me down in peace, and sleep; for you, Lord, alone make me live in safety." We claim this promise and ask for peaceful sleep and safety.
We pray all these things in the name of Jesus Christ, who is the only way to You. It is in His name that we pray for salvation and help. If you have not already, consider the salvation found only in Christ Jesus and His death on the cross for our sins and His resurrection for our justification.
Now, let us encourage you to stay strong in your faith and trust in the Lord. Remember that the Lord is your refuge and your fortress, and He will keep you safe. Be wise and take practical steps to ensure your safety, but always trust in the Lord's ultimate protection.
If this individual is relentless and there is no hope for change, we trust the authorities and the Lord to handle the situation. We do not take matters into our own hands, but we also do not live in fear. Trust in the Lord, and He will deliver you.
Be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplication, with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus. (Philippians 4:6-7 WEB)
